Yeah I think it’s clearly evident that we must stick with the Pau and Konsa partnership (so we need a new RB so that Ezri doesn’t have to fill in there) and the double pivot of Kamara and Luiz to keep momentum and success going…

There are players we can’t afford to lose… no more silly bookings/reds and some luck with fitness please…

The drop off is too severe when we don’t have them available… a quality DM to push and cover Kamara would be a huge help. We can’t compromise on our style by playing much less capable players…

I’ll be satisfied if we manage to make those two signings… and welcome anything else if it happens… we could boost our attack but we have players to bring into form too…

Plenty of ups and downs to go for the rest of this season… no one really ever has a smooth or easy ride in this league…

    Absolutely this and spot on!

For the first time in a long time, I feel like we have genuine quality throughout our squad. We have a system and we don’t seem to be weakened regardless of who slots in to certain positions. A lot of credit obviously has to go to Emery for this but it got me thinking, how valuable is our squad and IF (and it’s a big IF), we were brave enough to sell a big player to fund purchases elsewhere, how much would we get for each of our players?

I’ve had a go below, trying to be realistic of course. Some players are hard to judge due to injuries and obviously age is a factor when it comes to sale value.

    All values in £ Sterling.
    Martinez 75m
    Cash 20m
    Konsa 50m
    Torres 50m
    Carlos 25m
    Mings 20m
    Digne 12m
    Moreno 15m
    Ramsey 60m
    Dendoncker 5m
    McGinn 35m
    Kamara 80m
    Luiz 90m
    Tielemans 30m
    Bailey 30m
    Diaby 50m
    Buendia 20m
    Watkins 65m
    Duran 20m

I don’t want us to sell any of our players obviously, but I’ll be interested to see how we fend off bids for our players in the Summer. There is absolutely no question teams will be looking at the likes of Kamara and Luiz.

Add at least 40 million to each player's value and then we may even get close .

    Ridiculously low valuations.

Southgate is the biggest managerial fraud out there. Playing ten men behind the ball, with four right backs and relying on brilliance from Kane or Bellingham is the sole tactic he has.

A PE teacher of a coach that only Luton, crystal Palace or Sheffield Utd would even consider appointing as a manager in the premier league. I wouldn’t even want him at the club coaching the under 12s for fear that he would indoctrinate them with his hideously negative tactics.

Like another fraud we all know- who asked players to look him in the eye and waited for moments of magic. Gerrard / Safegate - same same- both turds you can't polish..

I had personally wished Ezri would declare for Portugal- I don't want him playing under the clown Safegate.

  4. Interesting question and there are so many

    Worst for me

Dr Tony ( complete blagger) by a mile

Gerrard for being a complete fraud of a manager

    others for a notable mention

Hodge as I adored him at the time

    Delph

    Boston Balaban

    Doug holding us back

Lerner for being a silent muppet

    Collymore

    Tactics Tim for being useless

Platt - just a clearing in the woods of a bloke since leaving

Graham Turner for being shite / Billy Mcneil relegation first time round.

It's quite bizarre tbh. Digne, for me, is clearly a much, much better player than Targett and we got him for a song in today's market. I'd also add that I hate Gerrard more than just about anyone 😂

Think I may hate him more

  7. In the interview, he just comes across as soooo professional. Lives and breathes football 24 hours a day. Apart from his family no other distractions.

We certainly won't catch Unai is any pubs on a Monday evening  or any other evenings

  8. Make no mistake Gerrard will be gone, as will Liz Truss- in both cases, it is  when rather than if.

One taking a great club into oblivion

the other selling the country down the toilet

    But both equally inept
