That wasn't really about West Brom though. That was a combination of the fact we had been awful all season and had just gotten a new manager who had won two games on the trot against a local team (think that was the second game, both were great), and the fact we were going to Wembley. I think it actually. Had very little to do with beating the carrier bags. Remember there was also an invasion against Blackburn after the classic 7-4. Turns out we just like the pitch.

We've been awful all of this season also, and we've just had a new manager. I agree with the Wembley point, but if there was a pitch invasion against Blackburn, surely against our biggest rivals if we win?

  2. How bad the Trump jokes are getting. There was a quiz and the team with the best name that was based around 'What would you call your Halloween movie?' and the winner got a tenner. Ours was Cabana Fever, and the team that won was 'The Return of President Trump'. I'm done.

Burton were in the Conference as recently as 2009, and were playing at level 6 of the pyramid in the early 00's. Now they sit above us......

Fleetwood get promoted, we don't, there's a possibility they could be above us, and they were in non-league a few years ago.

I don't really think Hutton is any good either. When's his contract up, can't be much left on that surely?

According to FM17, his contract ends 30th June 2017

If we win on Sunday I have absolutely zero doubts we will finish in the playoffs, despite all the stats you want to throw my way. We will start rolling. We then have 6 days off before we come home to Blackburn and you'd fancy us right? Even a draw to keep us ticking over would do then...

...THIS is the game. For once, can we win THE game?

Our next 5 games are Blackburn, Brighton, Cardiff, Leeds and Wigan. The only one to worry about there is Brighton. I'm not saying that the others will be walkovers, but potential points are up for grabs

    Up until Norwich

As others have said De Laet is crocked as, I believe, is Richards, so we're stuck with him. We could shift Bacuna back... but we won the last game with Bacuna playing 90mins in midfield, and with Hutton at RB, as much as they're both limited part of me things they've both earned the right to start. Confidence is a delicate thing, and if the manager starts benching players who won the last game, where does that leave the players mentally. I reckon reward them both with a start, and hopefully confidence will grow from there.

I do like Tshi so I'd be happy with him starting in midfield either though.

I really like Tshibola, I don't know why but I really dislike Hutton, mainly because when he gets forward he doesn't make much effort to get back. He's not too good at decision-making either

Right then, I think I'd set up like this:

                         Gollini

    Hutton   Chester   Baker   Amavi

    Bacuna     Jedinak    Gardner

    Adomah    Codger    Ayew

We can have Adomah and Ayew drop back to give us a five man midfield if we're under the kosh, but if not we can keep those three higher up and have Amavi (and to a lesser extend Hutton) to give more width in attack.

0-1 Villa - Ayew worldy on 60th Min.

    Why Hutton?

  8. Early opinions? Very mixed from other websites, but it looks like a GameBoy mixed with a Wii U. And all you'd have to do to play your games on your TV is take your Wii U there and plug it in, and I'd prefer to just go on my phone when travelling anyway

TBH Guardiola's shitty 'philosophy' of having defenders and goal keepers playing lots of short passes to each other and doing all round dangerous things on the ball is only going to enhance the probability of defensive errors, especially in a league like this where there's a strong emphasis on a high press and closing down players with the ball. City have been a calamity at the back for the last few weeks precisely for this reason. But I guess Guardiola has a blank cheque book so will simply continue to try and sign players who can do what he wants.

Hilariously though, Stones was signed because of his on the ball 'ability' but has looked the worst out of the lot.

I think it's a bit like Leicester, teams have figured them out
