He also has 11 goals in 29 games this season despite not starting a lot of them. 21 in 32 the season before that. The reason he doesn’t play is because he called Simeone an asshole in the public eye. 

We were always going to be inconsistent with a manager coming in mid-season with the position we were in. We're safe and you can bet he's learning a hell of a lot about our players and who will fit his philosophy. I think he should start  to try some of the youngsters, let's see what they're made of.

Not suggesting any conspiracy or anything here, just seems curious. I'm aware that you can walk off with ACL injuries for instance but usually it's pretty obvious on the pitch.

I thought he was taken off because he was on a yellow. Such a shame. Reminds me a little of the Trez injury.
