I guess its what floats your boat.

I couldn't give a fiddlers toss what he says in interviews......Its the putrid Dross he presents to us as football that boils my piss.

What he says in his post match pressers is almost always a biproduct of the pish he serves up on the pitch, so I do care what he says, these little comments about us "thickos" are little nails in his managerial coffin and I pray the owners aren't buying them for one second like his press pack mates are.

    What absolute load of drivel.

Sure you want Bruce out - but suggest we would be better without any manager is tosh of the highest order.

    Bit harsh.

I'd suggest a one celled ameloblastoma would be better than Bruce, stop defending his corner, we are way past all that nonsense.

I didn't want him at time not because of who he managed but he is crap manager. Can't find post but I didn't want him as played shit football, left teams in the shit, didn't promote youth and would sign his son

    3 out of 4 wasn't bad ?

Read the first few pages of this thread, people getting shouted down for saying he was shit lol.

Never liked his employment, but have always supported him out of loyalty to the badge, but it's time for sentiment and "nice bloke" reasoning to get kicked out the window, don't care if it's throwing the baby out with the bath water, he needs to go now, Doris the tea lady can take over for all I care, even she can make us a mid-table Tesco's bag full of dog shit to watch.

  4. Jesus! Who had the unenviable task of wiping the cobwebs off this thread?!

Wouldn't be adverse to him getting a pay as you play deal, **** all that 2/3 year contract off though. Get us up JC, get a bonus and get on your bike.

Possibly one for the FFP thread, but if he has gone, what does this mean regarding the Recon sponsorship deal with Bodymoor Heath? Does it just quietly get renamed back to BMH or is it a chance for further revenues to come in?

It's now officially called the Micro$oft Nikeebokapumadiadoradidas training ground, ffp sorted fella!

Edit: Diadora will be supplying really shit tracksuits.

Tbf it's probably less of a risk to "you and a few others" than it is to the people with a few hundred million on the line, it makes perfect sense to stick until everything's in place to reduce the risk as much as possible, you don't consistently win in poker by going all in every time you get slightly short stacked, you win by playing a longer game and only going all in when you either have no choice or have pretty good idea you'll win.

The owners are doing what they can to stack the odds in their favour by sorting out the backroom staff then I'm pretty sure they'll twist on Bruce after, no point sacking him now, paying him off, replacing him with another manager just to need to replace them a few months later once everything else is sorted

    Sauce?

So Bruce is punching above his weight as far as his own career results go with us and still getting it in the neck

I think it's one of those damned if you do ( bullet him ) and damned if you don't  ...we will never know what sort of tune can be got out of this bunch if we stick..and if we twist it could easily get worse.

Myself, and I'm assuming a fair few others, are absolutely happy for us to take that risk.

So Grealish is "comfortably" better than Abraham? Based on what?

    I disagree with that massively.

And that's a player at the same club, I haven't even had to go to other Championship clubs to make the point that the claim is way over the top.

One of the better players? Yeah I'd go along with that

Best player in the league? No I don't think so.

"Comfortably the best player"? Not a a chance.

Might want to add an "in my opinion" disclaimer to this post fella.

You saying he isn't is as absurd as someone saying he is, quite frankly.

Wasted out on the left, needs to be played through the middle to influence games.

That may be, but when he's played in the middle under our usual formation he picks the ball up too deep, he may have more possession but when he's on the left he seems to be more involved in the attacking third, last night's first goal was a shining example of this. It's a strange old problem but I prefer him on the left in an attacking sense.

I wouldn't worry though, he'll be playing centre half on Saturday I've no doubt.

Not true, the amount of backing he gets inside VP is still amazing. In a way, it makes me proud...he really does have no ground to complain. His name still gets chanted. I sit right hext to the dugout and in 2 years have heard 2 people have a little pop at him in that time. He really cannot and shouldn't dare complain.

So shut the **** up, stop the excuses and do.your job.

You need to get yourself to the back of the Holte then mate, there's obviously some kind of sound dampening going on around the dug (Bruce) out area!

Hourihane is doing his best, but his beard will never be a replacement for Jedinak's. Steve know's his stuff, and get's his priorities right!

I'm all for a nice chin strap but Jedinaks gone a bit overbeard with his, turn his head upside down and he looks like Jedward (either one). Hourihane has the right amount of quoffage so should start imo.

  12. I wonder, whenever we set up with Jedinak as DM, isn't it basically telegraphing our intent to the opposition?

"We're set up not to concede, we'll be on the back foot from minute one, have at us!"

Just once I'd like Bruce to switch to 3 attack minded midfielders (Hourihane/McGinn/Grealish) with like minded wide players. Tonight will no doubt be the usual defensive line up with Jedinak winning lots of headers but creating nothing going forward with Elmo and Albert running Marathons the wrong way.

Hourihane has to start for me but not at the expense of attacking intent.

Given that 90% of what you post is, in my opinion, absolute **** drivel, I've taken your opinion of Tuanzebe with a pinch of salt ;)

I'm glad to hear the input from someone who claims to have seen him play a lot more than I have. But that doesn't mean I have to believe it.

If he's done as well in the past as you claim then it makes me think that he has a lot of potential. But, again, in a Villa shirt he has shown absolutely nothing.

    Mr pot, meet Mrs Kettle.

    Tuanzebe in.

I do hope your rite about bagging hateful for us as he certainly does seem arrogant, cocky and full of that's my ball, which I spose forwards do need a bit of it at least.

From looking at the video of his goals someone had posted, it certainly does look like he can get on the end of other players mistakes or unfinished shots, from that alone he should be top scorer in the championship at end of the season considering all the ones we can't seem to put away ?

I did laugh at the final sentence but it's very true!

Yes he does seem a bit cocksure, hopefully that arrogance becomes goals and not just another Carlton Cole that this club seem to be able to create. Fingers crossed eh?!

  15. He looked genuinely upset on Saturday after the final whistle, thought he played much better when JK came on and rightly gave the midfield a round of **** when ignoring his positioning.

Seems to have a hint of arrogance about him which is what centre forwards need, he'll bag a hatful for us when he gets going I think.
