No surprise
They had to show him in the Villa shirt as no photographer in Italy was quick enough to snap him in his 5 mins of playing over 5 months for Napoli.

For whatever it's worth, the Mrs has no skin in this game.
As an outsider she's liking the badge from yesterday's tweet or whatever it was. She doesn't care for the circle badge as it looks like everybody else whilst the shield is more unique and recognisable.
I love the circle design if the lion was the other way around but I also completely see where she's coming from.
Just match the badge colours to the shirt rather than the blue of the shirt being different and it'll be a much easier acceptance.
-
Whatever the design, match the claret, blue and gold/yellow of the badge to the kit colours.
If they match then it blends nice and the badge won't be so jarring.

To my other point if ollie picks up a long term injury do you think he can hold the line ?
Hold the line?

Whatever they are, hopefully they're out in good time. My lad is 2 in mid-July and would love to be able to get him a shirt for his birthday.
Not holding my breath though.

This makes complete sense and a step-up from a very competent, Lenglet. 28/29 is nothing for a CB at the top level. We could have him for a couple of years and sell him to Saudi if we want to be that brutal.
Lenglet is going and like it or not, we don't know what Ty will be like when he returns.

Chelsea had 16 shots. Arsenal 9. Newcastle 18. Forest had 13 shots despite losing 3-1. Even in our 4-0 loss, we had more shots - just terrible at finishing with only one on target whereas Spurs scored four of their five shots on target. The last game Spurs conceded under 5 shots was their 3-1 win against Palace on 2 March.
So that suggests Palace are shit and we'll get the needed 3 points from them. Excellent

Ollie would be closer to 30 PL goals this season if Emi B was around for the campaign.

Fine we have limited options and we're tired etc etc etc but we still had a front three with 35 goals between them and a midfield with 15 goals between them and could only muster one shot on goal the entire game.
I don't deny we need Tielemans, Martinez, Zaniolo back to boost the options but even so the whole performance today was well, well below what we should be capable of.
Because they're absolutely shattered. All the impressive stats for our attackers on the pitch ignores all the effort and graft they've put in over the season when complaining about the Brighton game.
This team has done amazing to be where we are given all of the injuries and going deep into Europe.
The players are not machines, they are humans with a breaking point and limit on what they can do Sat, Thur, Sun on repeat.
Our high standards are not sustainable with the number of players out, the stage of squad development we're in and the sheer volume of games.

Spurs can punch against the likes of City but they're clearly more than capable of being slapped about.
They'll score against City but defensively they're wild, City will punish it.
-
Credit where it's due, he absolutely brought it today.
He has these sort of games in him but it's the not knowing what you're going to get from one game to the next that's the problem.
Shame his performance wasn't rewarded with a point.
-
I think we're going to blow them away and the crowd will be vicious with De Zerbi.
They've barely been scoring so if we can get 2+ goals, that'll be that.
Jinxed it now. Sorry.

I think the guy is absolutely shattered physically and mentally.
It's easy to forget all the brilliance he's brought overall when focusing on the recent form.
Let's get behind the guy and help rally him until the end of the season. He's struggling and needs the fans behind him.
Pick the players up, don't boot them when down.

We can be wild defensively but at the same time, he does little to inspire any confidence himself. He never looks calm or in control and decent shot stopping should be a given at our level.
It feels like there's little communication or understanding between the backline and keeper.
The signing of Gauci suggests there's one way this is going but still giving Olsen his opportunity.

Probably already in here but...

He wasn't lacking any effort tonight. He chased back really hard. The only one close to winning the ball in the build up to their equalising corner.

He’s a full back isn’t he? Been some great short fullbacks over the years.
