I love the optimism that we all have. I used to hate going in to these kind of games but Emery has given us all belief. It’s great to see!

According to posters on Hibs forum Paramount+ are showing the game
Paramount+ has a free 7day trial on Amazon Prime if it is on there. Not sure if it’s for everyone or just a random customer thing though.

Will Watkins goals count towards the golden Boot for the tournament or will they only count from the group stage?
I was thinking the same thing. I imagine that as it a qualifier they won’t but could be wrong.

Thought this was on bbc Scotland?
It is but make sure you’re checking BBC Scotland and not BBC one Scotland. I made that mistake yesterday.

That badge looks ducking aweful. Why not do the white the other way round.

Would love to see us play Newcastle. Not sure how that'll go being in Australia and Peacock not having broadcasting rights outside of the USA.
Optus Sports are showing this in Australia.

What on Earth are you talking about? So you are saying that if Villa offer a *choice* to people who want it then you wouldn’t support them… that frankly makes no sense whatsoever.
Someone else having something they want doesn’t mean you don’t get what you want… **** me.
No that’s not what I’m saying at all. Sorry that my post was confusing I was talking about the club sponsor that’s all.

FTFY and I agree
The sponsors aren't daft, they know what a sponsor less shirt means and the club will accept the highest bidder (who even knows what the 2nd highest looks like)
The halal option and various other things the club does for various religious groups won't step on contractual agreements
Thank you. This is exactly what I was trying to say. Obviously I just wasn’t explaining myself correctly.

They serve halal food in the canteen FYI. Time to become a Blues fan I think.
That’s fair enough and I’m happy they are sensitive in that way, but there is no way the club are going to give in to religious/political views.

I love the kids kit without that hideous sponsor
Short answer no. An to be fair why should they, you chose to support Aston Villa who are a football club and most money in the league is provided by betting companies. If they ever do anything for religious reason then they will not get my support anymore. Why should they?

You should do that kind of thing in your own room.

That would explain why Torres was overheard from his room saying, they,re bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, bouncy, Fun, fun, fun, fun, Fun.
but the most wonderful thing about Pau Torres is he’s the only one.

Next time aim for a 2.
That way when you come home with a 3 you’ll be over the moon.
You’re welcome.
I’ve only ever come and been a three once. Was awesome though.

I actually think the new badge is the hold up. They want everything at Villa Park sorted first.

Defo, but it’s like a lot of these things… If you’re the one always taking it to the next level, going for several days at a time, it’s at risk of turning into something less fun.
Not saying this to have a go at him, just know how easily it slips from harmless fun to your health, wealth and happiness taking a hammering. And as a professional footballer he risks losing his fitness, which would make it really hard in his 30s.
He’s a valuable asset to Man City and English football atm, so hopefully people are looking out for him.
But from what I’ve heard, all that’s really changed since the early days is he’s learnt how to hide away from the media better.
I was thinking that today. Now he’s out of the media spotlight it’s what he does next.

Difference is, when I'm out of work, maybe sinking a few, I'm not wearing anything associating me to my employer or with the focus of the media on me.
I'm not saying he can't enjoy himself but I think it tells a story that out of a squad of how ever many players, once again, he's the 1 who can hardly stand up or talk due to how much he's drank.
Do you mention anything on your social media accounts about who you work for as they will dismiss you for that over association the bigger companies.
not having a go buddy it’s a touchie subject as I got dismissed for my social media presence last year. Having a few beers and having a live outside of your job is not a sackable offence.

I think there is a fine line between celebrating by having a few and acting the fool to what Jack is doing. To do it for basically 3 days straight and end up in the state he's in, isn't a good look for himself or his club.
People seem to be lapping his behaviour up, 'Jack the lad' and all that but I think it's a bit embarrassing. He clearly loves being centre stage and while the fans & media stand by watching, goading him on, he's playing up to it even more.
I think he has a very unhealthy relationship with drink. He is clearly a binge drinker and we only see snippets of that, usually post-season, if he's got something to celebrate. It's already led him into breaking the law in the past and all I see is a bloke who is going to run into health problems, sooner rather than later, who's career won't stand the test of time due to this.
As others have said, life is to be enjoyed and excellence should be celebrated but you can do that without coming across as a binge drinking clown.
Out of work he can do what the **** he wants. If you’ve never had a night out celebrating then I understand. But if not then bollocks to you, no offence but let the lad enjoy himself. I’m not he’s biggest fan I think he’s a clearing in the woods, but a few beers after the sucesss he’s had is understandable.
Binge drinking is a very different thing than celebrating a massive sucess, check the government guidelines on bing drinking, it’s four pints! Most of us have that at half time on a Saturday.

Yeah me to but we signed Dublin who is a great guy instead so that’s a bonus. Still hurts how good that team was till December under Gregory before we fell apart.
