  1. How Man City have conducted themselves seem to be the norm if you look at how they conducted the deals with both Lescott and RSC-Unsettle a player and get him to more or less put in a transfer request and then pay 6-10 million more than the initial price.

Agreed, after all money is not really an issue with them so they can just take as long as they like and if the worst comes to the worst they'll just pay whatever it takes to get their man in the end, I still think it's more to weaken their closest rivals rather than to strengthen their already impressive squad, in short they're ruining any sense of fair play left in the game, this being said what's to stop another rich Arab buying another club, nothing I suppose, it's happened before and it will most likely happen again..

  2. His overall skills arent that good so that he is interesting for european football. I only meant his achievement on the World Cup.

could you please clarify what you mean? Do you want us to sign him or what

No I dont want Villa to sign him. Villa need to spend money on much better skilled players..which wont happen with MON in charge but that is another story.

Only I said was that I think he was quite good in the World cup consider he played for a very weak international team. And he was better than many of the so called superstars from England and France during the World cup.

Oh bugger off, MON has signed plenty of players better skilled than Tsabalalala. And I'd wager that come the end of the window he will of signed a few more!

I hope your right and we'll see.

  3. Well if he's that angry and reckons O'Neil's lying, all he has to do is come out and make a public statement rather than use his bellend of an agent to prove it.

    Simples.

And lets face it these agents are a bunch of parasites that would be filling their clients with nonsense just so they can get a nice juicy cheque either way, that's what these leaches are all about.

  4. I think it's fairly obvious that we are pushing him out because we need the funds to rebuild the squad. The manager has come out today because the deal hasn't progressed and I think he wants to get on with signing a few people.

It's a shame really, but that's the Premiership. Money's all that counts.

Precisely what I was thinking and in the process make Milner look like the Villan "if you'll pardon the pun" in any case I'd prefer Ireland to Milner any day of the week so I just hope it's part of any perspective deal.........and Micah Richards, what the hell.

  5. Saw a report in the Sun today stating that Citeh are now after Ramires in a 30m deal after the Milner deal had stalled. Good news if true. Does make me laugh how a member of the Brazil squad, and a pretty poor one at that IMO, is suddenly worth 30m just because hes played for Brazil?!

Milner is twice the player he is.

Probably not a single quote though........pinch of salt.

  6. we just defeated kiwis 3:1 but we did not play too well. no injuries, birsa and novakovic are on fire, koren is one very motivated free agent. can't wait for the games to start!

fair enough but the Kiwi's have no right to be at the world cup IMHO, they are easily the worst team at the finals for some time and will be lucky to score a goal let alone get a point and they certainly have no chance of winning a game, Slovenia on the other hand could be one of the surprise packages of the tournament and England would do well not to underestimate them.

  7. Wrong.

If we could buy players of Milner's calibre for £10m-ish, everyone else would know about them.

    .

Not quite, we buy players with the potential to be that good. Just like we bought Milner who had the potential to be as good as he is now.

..classless pig riding spunk balls the lot of um!!..

Now that's what I call journalism, you should go pro..

  8. Has it occurred to anyone that Milner is just being a clever businessman and basically saying to Randy and Martin that he has every intention of staying but his new contract has to reflect huge improvement, if it where me I'd probably do the same, it's just smart business and lets face it he comes across a quite a sharp individual and it's a pretty simple yet effective negotiation tactic, he didn't actually say he want's to leave, what he really said was if he gets sold, as in we accept a huge offer for him and he has no say in the matter.

  9. This one is already starting to feel like Barrygate part 2 and we all knew how that one ended, if he does go which wouldn't surprise me if he does, Ireland has to included in the deal as personally I rate him higher, lets face it, Milners has had 1 really good season and all of a sudden he's Lionel Messi, look what happened to Ashley Young after winning all his accolades last season, anyway, When Barry left most of us where up in arms and the truth of the matter is he hasn't been missed and in my opinion we have actually improved, albeit to the fact that Milner is the reason for that but he is certainly far from irreplaceable and Ireland and a £20 + Million is not a bad bit of business, that said of course I do hope he stays of course.

  10. how about just don't sell him unless it's for £40m?

selling our best player on form and in potential when he is still under contract and more than likely going to a world cup with England would show that we are a selling club and small time.

it's time to Man up and tell Man Shitty to shove their oil money up their little man dresses and fack off.

    :crylaugh::crylaugh:

  11. Think it'd be more sensible to get it sorted before the world cup to be honest, but we've never done things quickly so I guess it'll drag on now for the next two months.

Milner’s value will increase if he has a good world cup; he and his agent know that and I suspect he will want to see what Villa have to say after that. Villa if they are tempted to sell or see the inevitiable will wait for his value to rise, and also to see what it flushes out. If Man U are interested they might come in with a lower bid with the knowledge that if Milner moves he can choose where he goes. Man U seem to be a more attractive proposition?

    But who knows...

If Man City want the player, then chances are Man City will get the player. They've enough money. They'll just keep throwing it until we give in. And then do similar with wages to Milner. Look at when Chelsea were spending money and the unbelievable amounts they paid for the likes of SWP.

By delaying it is just shortens the time that O'Neill has to try and somehow buy a replacement for the player the ball seems to go through most of the time for the second year running. And he's not the quickest in the transfer market, is he? ;)

But the point is; what does Milner want? Milner’s agent will want to get whats the maximum amount of wages from Villa, City or Man U. At the moment he’s a good player; if he has a good WC, his value rises both in terms of wages and price. But I reckon JM is more canny than just going where the biggest wage is on offer; who would he prefer to work with? Where is he likely to play the most? where is he likely to be at the centre of things?

Oh and Man City don’t always get the man... Fabian Delph :D

...and don't forget a certain Kaka which just goes to show you that it isn't all about money and lets not forget they're only true superstar for want of a better word couldn't wait to see the back of the place, Robinho, so far all I'm seeing at Citeh with the exception of probably Tevez is a bunch of overrated overpriced overpaid mercenaries with the only thing bigger than they're bank balance is they're ego's and still what have they won?
