I'm in a WhatsApp group for my mates 50th. There are loads of noses on there, and a sprinkling of Villa, and to be fair one of them is another one of my mates who knows them all better than me and he is pretty mouthy about Villa.
But regardless there were zero posts on there about them going down. Nothing.
Last night and this morning it's been deluged with piss taking from them.
Typical, they can't help themselves. Obviously we've now been giving it back, I posted that Tweet about their cancelled staying up party. But they started it!
I'm telling mom!

If Martinez is not fit to start then I'm sure he will be fit enough to come off the bench and save a few penalties

Deary me. Speaking to some people today you'd think we were four goals behind from the first leg. We're odds on favourites to win the match tomorrow so should be pretty close.
We we're 2/7 on and they were 8/1 for the first leg.

I think the big questions really are
- Will either of their two current managers want to be their manager in League One? They both have an out (sickness or only an interim job)
- How long can they fight off a points deduction due to their profitability, and how serious will it be when they get it?
- Can they keep or improve their squad with so many leaving?
Wagner find answers to those questions quickly, they will be the best team in League One and they'll be back next year.
Don't find answers quickly or at all, and they could go missing for years.
Back to reality!

Not seen that many Villa about,
Anything happening around the stadium?..

Banter aside, do we think they’ll walk League one and get out at the first attempt? Sunderland as a recent example struggled for a few years.
I guess it’s not easy once you end up down there.

Anybody else having a problem downloading their ticket?
it’s just coming up with an error on the Brighton Website saying it can’t be downloaded and we’re on our way down now.
No issues, just go to there ticket office if no joy mate.

Not sure when you land, but The Kings and Queens is a cracking boozer for sport, beer and a £6 burger in a backet. Two floors, loads of beer, pool tables and a huge screen last time we went down (last year I think). It's rough and ready but it's a corker.
I will say, last time we went down there, after tea time we got ID'ed a lot in town, not for age (none of us look less than 40 years old) but ID'ed to see where we were from. We weren't being nuisances, we'd had 5/6 years in the same boozers. so it come as a bit of an odd one. So any bar after tea time, turn up and pretend be an Ozzie or something.
Also, if you can get dinner in the Camelford Arms, it's spit and sawdust, it's well kept beer, and it's a plate of food that you'll love and never be able to finish. The interior is a Banks's pub from the 80s, the beer is gold plated. the food will make you jizz.
Drop me a DM if you wanna link up, I'm coming down as a rascal on the prowl but I'm with my boy, his wife and his nipper.
Otherwise, have it pal, and have it hard. It's a wonderful place, it's full of lovely people, lovely beer, lovely food, and three points for us
Nice one Cyril, I've been in both over the past couple of seasons
