It indeed was a special atmosphere last night Genral. where i was sat/stood, i aint heard a villa crowd like that since the 80`s, but admit it was my first game for 2 or 3 years, 38k is a great turn out too, if that had been a team who are closer to us on the world map, it would prob have been a sellout with away support.

I'm still keeping an eye on Everton, 11 points may sound alot but we have an incredibly difficult run of games coming up now and even Arsenal, who were top of the league at the time, gave up a 12 point lead last season. There remaining fixtures:

Home: West Brom, Stoke, Wigan, Man City, Spurs, West Ham.

Away: Newcastle, Blackburn, Portsmouth, Villa, Chelsea, Sunderland, Fulham.

Probably the pessimist in me, but I can see them winning most of them!

Yeah, Wilko was very good for a bit. But if you want to talk outside halves of yesteryear, then you might end up on the losing side of an arument with a Wales supporter. Cliff Morgan, Phil Bennett, Barry John, Gareth Davies, Jiffy, Jenkins were all good back in the day too but, like Jonny, they're a bit passed it now. So we don't miss them and wouldn't want them in the side. Gareth Edwards on the other hand could probably still do a job on England.

The mere fact that an England fan is bemoaning the lack of Wilkinson as a reason for defeat and equating his absence to that of Williams (the current World Player of the Year) speaks volumes.

As for Silverware, Shane's got two grand slam medals to his name and not many are betting against him getting a third. Not a World Cup, but not bad going. Ian Balshaw has got a W/C winners medal. Do England want him back too?

And for what its worth, if you offered me Wilkinson in his prime, or Shane Williams, the little wizard would be chosen every time. Jonny was a very good player. Shane's a genius.

have an alliance lvl 80 glass canon i play on laughing skull char name donkhunter guild called ming, my armoury link so if any alliance fancy a transfer come here we are outnumbered by about 4-1 v horde.

am bit bored of it atm though cos completed all end game even safarion with 3 drakes up, so only raid 2 nights a week and nowt to do for rest of wow time.
