Well done Emile! My MOTM! Is it a leap year?
-
Really?Surly heskey will go from shit player to hero nowNobody is a hero at Villa. Every member of staff, playing or backroom, is shite.
Walking in a Heskey Wonderland!!!
-
Downing!!!! The New Messiah!!!!
-
We get the message.petrov must have put gabby off. -
Glad to see one or two are happy with the way things are going and making free with the smilies. You may be pleased to know your team is a goal up at half-time.
-
Well I'd have played Reo-Coker, Petrov AND Sidwell.
-
No NRC. Not amused. Collins still out I see. Overdose of horse placenta?
-
No. I did. One then. Heskey. Or perhaps two, Heskey and Ashley Young (a long shot I know).Am I the only one that thinks alot of posters have missed the "STARTING 11" bit in the title and just assumed it meant squad?I#'ll go with 1.
-
Five possibly. I live in hope that we will see Emile Heskey and Carlton Cole together as regular strike partners for England.
Best wishes,
Fritz McDonald

Useful 2nd or 3rd choice right back. Very good central defender - as people above are saying perfectly good cover for an out of form, injured or suspended Collins or Dunne. Good enough for a regular place but may have a bit of a job shifting Collins or Dunne,
-
That match can be defined by the way that John's comments on the members of our back four are about how they did going forward.
-
I've been wanting Albrighton to get a chance but...
1 - Young and Milner fit today so no need.
2 - So glad Gardner (silly arse for getting a yellow) and Delfouneso got on. These two have waited their turn patiently.
Well done MON with the substitutions!
-
15 minutes extra time please.
-
Sidwell a different player today. Dunne having a great game too.
-
Who had been coming 2nd all that time, Brechin City?
-
Good Lord no. Routledge.
-
I'm probably the only person in the world who didn't already know this, but today I've learnt that sheep have only two teats.
-
And they offered him a job because they'd had him before as manager and knew of his capabilities.
-
O'Neill a 'great' manager? Well if you're about 8 years old, yeah, he's up there among the better ones. Surreal.
-
Priceless! Thanks!
-
So because a cartoon meerkat says it, you say it?Simples? Plural? That's 3 times I've seen that today. (confused)

Yes. "Great PR" etc. Castles in the sand. Froth. Little substance.but I do think he has that something special that other managers maybe don't have. That "something special" is just his quirky media personality isn't it? Which to me, is about as much use when it comes to running a football club as tits on a bull.
Elsewhere I see Downing - who hasn't even kicked a ball for the club yet - is being built up a some kind of saviour. Sad. People have often commented that players who are out of the side (at different times and for different reasons Carew, NRC...) are often seen as potential saviours. Same with Downing sorry.

Most of the available managers probably. Except perhaps Hristo Stoichkov. Here we go again1 poor result and off we go.
Better question than the thread title
Who is available that is better equipped than MON to take us further ?
