Just seen Gerrards comments from the presser. It genuinely looks like we will only possibly see a new cb coming in. Disgraceful window in comparison to teams we are competing with if that’s the case.

Yeah I think I’d pretty much agree with this. I’d argue burn would 100% be starting cb for us over mings. It’s interesting to look at though.

Out of curiosity which of our 11 would you think are better than Newcastle? Kamara, coutinho (maybe), digne and cash. Other than that I’m struggling 

I think we need to reluctantly accept Newcastle have had a great transfer window and unfortunately will just get better and better moving forwards. Hopefully we have a bit of action at the end of the transfer window to cheer us all up 

I actually think Bednerek would be quite good. Very good in the air which would certainly help us from offensive and defensive set plays. Also potentially links up well with cash at RB due to polish connection. 

Was hoping to have a new signing in for West Ham to boost some morale among the fans. Not looking likely is it

If it was me in control I’d want someone in the mold of Ndidi and another centre half with a bit of height and strength (maybe this one we are linked with from Turkish league). Even though we have signed a couple of good players I really think we are further behind from the target of Europe than we were last season. Unfortunately, the gap will continue to get bigger every window. 

The dreams of European spots are well beyond us anyway even before the likes of West Ham and Newcastle spending. Don’t think our owners will be willing to compete with Newcastle and the big six

Now Hause has gone to Watford I would expect a new CB in pretty fast
