Everyone keeps saying this, it's annoying! Every team is tired at the end of the season, every team. Brighton didn't exactly look full of energy today either, both teams were playing at snails pace.
Tiredness doesn't explain complete lack of imagination, constantly taking the wrong decisions when we got into the final third, hollywood passes when the easy ball was on, no desire to go and win the game, and basically playing for a point to preserve energy probably for Thursday where we will likely go out anyway.
It’s almost as if we’re punching above our weight, and Emery has extracted every last ounce out of the team. And now fixtures and injuries are catching up with us.

Not at all confident with Olsen in goal.
Hopefully the defence and midfield stop making mistakes so Olsen can stop getting blamed.

I still can’t believe we have (probably) stuffed this up. It showed me how much I actually wanted to win it.
It’s only half time

Outside of City and Arsenal, I don't think there are any clubs that can rule out 8th next season. I think Chelsea will finish 6th this time around.
The landscape is changing and a big club is likely to miss out on Europe altogether each season from now on - as the 'smallest' big club, that could easily be us - there'll be nothing shameful about 8th for us (or Chelsea) next season. One of us, Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle, Spurs or Liverpool will most likely finish there.
8th will in all likehood (I know we said that this season) still get Europe, as Coefficient FC will be back hoping for the 5th CL spot, pushing the other Euro spots down a position.

In a way that makes me more nervous. Brentford were in a hole when we played them too. Still pulled 3 goals in 10 mins against us.
Different circumstances. Brentford where just above relegation zone when they played us, only 6 points off Luton.
Brighton's season is over, more or less and we're a bogey team for them.

We win the 2nd leg 2-0, Emi back for another penalty shootout masterclass.

I hope Emi back but I can’t see us risking him. Same with Youri.
We are going to struggle if Brighton show up like they can. They will be fresh and their fans will expect to see something.
We have to start with our strongest back line to help Olsen.
Olsen
Konsa Carlos Pau Digne
McGinn Luiz Diaby
Bailey Olly Rodgers
Might even be a game to put Tim in the middle alongside Luiz and McGinn.
They haven't bothered showing up most of this season, 1 win in last 9 games.

Wow, I had no idea of the hate they have for Ange. Quite staggered really.
They really want him gone!
What do Spurs fans want? They've went the world class manager route and it failed miserably, they even sacked one of them just before a cup final
And now they've went with Ange, who got off to a good start, but looks like the wheels are coming off. Are they going to sack Ange and restart again next season, falling behind as probably Us, Newcastle, Chelsea etc push on.

Burnley and Sheff Utd will fancy getting at this Spurs team. Burnley have improved at home, and are still fighting for survival. Sheff Utd have nothing to lose now, how many times have we seen relegated teams suddenly start playing when the pressure is off?

If Olsen is in nets were already starting the game 2 nil down.
Hopefully Digne and Cash remember how to play the offside trap, and Luiz doen't give away any silly penalties.

His always the one to blame when his playing and we loose never our midfield or defence who go missing or give away cheap goals.
Olsen is to blame for absolutely everything that went wrong.
Olsen disallowed Baileys goal
Olsen played the striker on twice
Olsen didn’t give Bailey a penalty
Olsen gave a penalty away
Olsen missed our penaltyIts all Olsens fault.

The first few months of it maybe. He hasn't been at the races for a loooong time now. The season is 38 league games, plus.
Is there an echo in here?

Spurs should be more worried about not allowing ManU to catch them
Spurs can mathematically finish 8th

So our defenders can only function with the world’s number one goalkeeper behind them ? Perhaps they need to step up a bit and take some responsibility for the defence of our goal.
This. I hate the argument that the defence play bad because Olsen is in nets.

We wouldn’t be in 4th or the semis of a European competition if it wasn’t for Luiz. He’s been one of our best players this season, a bad game won’t change that.

Fiorentina hoping to avoid favourites Villa and Emery in the final and an Italian referee for our match. Fishy, much?
Why didn’t the English ref do us a favour in their game then?

Well I guess we wouldn’t be winning the Greek league if we were in it. Olympiakos are third in their league currently and have battered us.
Would they be 4th in the PL?

Lol, even I can't defend you for that Robin
Somehow it’s Olsens fault that our full backs played them on for two goals and Luiz handles the ball?

This refs a shambles. How’ve we managed to get the two worst refs in Europe in these last two games?
-
Spurs won’t get a point from Liverpool or City. They’ll beat Sheff Utd and Burnley, so 66 points for them.

The team anre exhausted, we’ve played 50+ games this season, it’s catching up with our small injury ridden squad now despite the senior players available.
