  1. Loved Ugo when I was younger. A very sad day.

Even so, it is absolutely brilliant that he got to be a professional footballer and died doing what I would imagine he loved.

Not directed at you knoppy, your post just made me think of something. Cats are mostly beautiful creatures, but the toll they take on songbirds is horrendous. They also annoy the heck out of me when they use my garden as a toilet. I wish their owners (as with dogs) would be more responsible.

No problem at all Blandy - it's a very fair comment. For me, cats are given a pass because of how fascinating and beautiful they are. In reality, it is sad other things die for no reason other than play.

My cat does listen to my calls and I largely keep her indoors more because of the area I live in. She does murder spiders however. She stands on one of the legs, getting it in a vice, and paws the remaining legs off. Gets bored after about 3 legs. In the summer I regularly come home to a crime scene.

  3. Here is my monster (her name is June) doing some posing. She has had kittens so any saggy belly comments will result in a dead blue tit. You have been warned.

I know that. Your entitled to it.

    ...even if it's wrong ;)

Haha. I've been wrong before and I will be again. :)

We're all chasing the same thing with Villa. Like you, I just want to feel like we're going somewhere. We all have that in common and we'll all still be here whoever is in charge.

But maybe by making a change this would change.

Maybe mate - but maybe we might have a change of fortune. We do not know and it is all a gamble. You have your opinion and I have mine. It is allowed.

You Sir are in a minority. How can you stand behind this shit!

Quite possibly pacbuddies. I have been standing behind this rubbish for a lot longer than Bruce's tenure and so have you. Change yielded very little before this.

Or maybe after the past 5-6 years it's a case of deja vu again. Seen it all before the signs are all there of a manager who just again isn't working.

I agree - it's a risk and I accept it will be one some or many fans of Aston Villa might not be willing to take. However, for me, I want to stick and not twist. It is not just the change of manager for me, it is everything else that comes with that change.

  8. I'm behind Bruce - I just feel we have to see a manager through and try and prove that yet more change is not what is required. It is a risk, but getting new managers in has been also.

I have grown very tired of the in the door and out the door culture; not just with Villa. It reminds me of Cagliari or Palermo. I remember sitting here last summer and we're all yearning for new players etc. In hindsight, would we have been any worse off than we are now even if we did despise some of players attitude after last season? The same could be said about RDM being in charge, or the wave of January transfers. Are we satisfying the excitement of a transfer/new manager akin to the purchase of the latest and greatest IPhone or whatever to satisfy the soul?

My opinion is that we need to get behind the team and manager and do our best to see this through. We need some foundation/core and chopping and changing because we're all miffed after 5-6 years cannot be a continued risk to take.

Cripes! I can't believe we're writing players off after 2 away games. I'm giving VT a break for a while it's bad for my mental health.

    Spot on

  10. Absolute joke. A player that describes his greatest attribute as intelligence. Get shot.

I'm sick of our football club being held to ransom and dictated to by moronic fools like this. Raus!

This is the first time I have seen this today. When you think of how the press treated him during his time with England then this is really sad. He was someone who always gave his best and genuinely cared. Such a decent man.

This is sad Mark - good people always shine through though and I do not think anybody could rob Graham Taylor of that. More people today could do with those qualities exhibited in that video and throughout his career. Thanks for sharing.
