I was at the game and he was awful apart from 1 shot towards the end. Everything about his game what we all love has gone, needs a good spell on the bench having 10 or 15 mins at the end.

Though he did alright when he came on nothing special but did a lot better than the players around him

1. Nobody on the team can pass more than 20 yards

2. Nobody wants the ball

3. Nobody is on the same page

4. Seems like nobody gives a shat

6. Hoofball doesn't work especially when you can't pass the ball ( see 1. )

Which leads to a whole heap of shit

1. We sack Lambert but who in the right mind would take us on and move us forward?

2. Randy wants to pay peanuts ( in the footballing world )

3. What play of any quality in the right mind would want to join us? He would be on a low footballing wage playing with a bunch of players that can't beat a poor league 1 team.

Anyone can say what they want about Doug but he was there with us always and I'm sure he was at our last home game.

I understand people more interested in the team getting better right now but can I ask what you think of the points I've made for where the club were when he took over and the things that had to be done?

The points you made have eased my mind. I'm still not a Randy Lerner fan and would be loving it if he sold up, however Paul Lambert although I find some of the signings and tactics a bit weird I like the bloke and would love nothing more an him to succeed in this project.

Really hope Grealish gets a chance, I don't expect him to be the hero of the season but would be nice to see one of our own youth get the chance to shine

It's not that we are loosing its the lack of any conviction or drive in our play. 

 

Yesterday 80 mins of the game we were just shuffling around side to side passing at walking pace.

At one point we won a corner Gabby raced to get the ball looking fired up, he then turns around and all our players look like they are taking a Sunday morning stroll in the park.

Is Lambert being to soft on them or something? He need to go Fergie on their asses

Well when you've lost four in a row and confidence is rock bottom then getting a point against whoever is at least a start and you can try and take it from there. Obviously 3 points you'd rather but all I'm saying is its a game you would be desperate not to lose if that actually makes sense!

 

From a fan's perspective we should really have been trying to pick up wins in the games against Fulham, Stoke, Crystal Palace and Swansea. Two of those games are away fixtures, where we are arguably a better team.

 

Being as we have lost three of those fixtures so far, we should be going into the next game wanting a win at the very least because we need three points. I understand the idea that we need to not lose, of course, but even one point from a possible 12 in those games is dire to say the least. 

 

After Swansea we have Sunderland away, Arsenal at home, Liverpool away, West Brom at home and then Everton away. The only game I can see us being able to win there is Sunderland away, but if we lose to Swansea it will be difficult to even get a point there. 

 

We have to beat Swansea, a point is not enough because even three points is not enough from the fixtures we have had when you look at the upcoming games. Realistically, we could end up losing up to 10 games in a row - I can actually see it happening if confidence continues to drop.

 

If we do not beat Swansea tomorrow, we'll be in the relegation zone by the end of January.

What I'm saying is in my eyes he's gone out and got a load of young players in from nowhere, he's got a load of our young players who couldn't do any worse. Then spend that 40 million on some quality players in across the team.

Don't get me wrong while he was buying all these players in I thought it was a great idea but clearly now it just isn't working I wish is was because I like Lamber but the fact is at the moment it's the blind leading the blind.

I really like the bloke BUT

As much as I don't like Lerner he's given Lambert 40+ million most of that's been totally wasted, he would of been better off using the youth we already have, then spending that 40 million on 4 or 5 players of a better standard.

I struggle to see what Lambert and coaching staff are seeing game in game out.

MON had plan A Lamber has no plan from what I can see.

Makes weird changes which normally never work or are was to late in the game.

I can't work out if Lamber is A very very stubborn, or B he really does see something special in these players.

I don't know anymore it's just a joke, he's lost most of the fans and from where I'm sitting he's also lost the players.

Can't anything but a easy Swansea win.

Not really arsed with his comments he was probably just as pissed off as us, however his coaching ability is nothing short of terrible, wasn't he a defender in his playing days? What's he teaching these players? Needs to leave or be sacked.

I think we've had it this season unless something massive changes.

The players are playing really bad, Lambert's tactics are shocking, Lerner doesn't invest nowhere near enough.

Now the fans have pretty much turned on the management/coaching staff and team I can't see how things can get better without change
