"Ireland looked immense for 30 minutes before having to go off"......"Ireland was useless today, get rid". Ok before getting shot down quickly, completely different level of opposition obviously. He's hardly played in 2 years. Point i'm making is, it's all a bit fickle.
I could look immense against walsall for 30 mins
You can take solace knowing that Osbourne would not

Great stuff! I know it's been mentioned already, but that slideshow has to be the greatest ever. I was chuckling to myself for the 1st 3 pics and then it turned into a howl after each. Priceless Charles and welcome!!

Hang on, back up a second. What's with all this 'N'Zogbia played under Bruce at Blues' and 'he left Blues when Eck came in'?? He's never played for Blues?!?!

Can everyone just have another of BOF's Cadbury's Caramels along with a chill pill and just relax!
Sod the Caramels, pass the weed
Amen to that, brother. Just blaze.

VT half the time, or probably more than that.

Right or wrong, it's yet another transfer 'saga' that is fast becoming boring!

Wigan are leaving on a trip too later on in the week apparently.
However this was only tied up and announced yesterday evening.
From their website:
Posted 19 Jul 2011 19:28Pre-Season tour of Austria confirmed
Wigan Athletic have confirmed that the team will fly out to Austria later this week for a week's intensive training and two friendly matches.
Roberto Martinez and his men will take on Al Ain of the United Arab Emirates on Friday July 24 and newly promoted Turkish Super League side Mersin Idmanyurdo on Wednesday 27.
Venues and kick off -times of the matches in Austria will be confirmed as and when they are finalised.
The word Hopefully with a smiley is used
Like I said I think he's teasing as he was with retweet of coming to Villa question off NUFC fan.
I think their website editor needs sacking: Friday July 24th....Wednesday July 27th? Makes sense.
July 24th is Sunday, I should know, that's my birthday

Better than late never to comment....Welcome Shay and goodluck!

My post was firmly tongue in cheek.

It's gone past 5pm. Board out!

After a quick google found one article with him saying he'd always be indebted to Aston Villa for playing a big part in his career, the fans, etc. That's what I expected to hear from him anyways.
-
Ah ok, slipped that one past me. Class act compared to SD.
-
Absolute tosser.
Barry, Milner and even Young (quite a lot) mentioned us.
What did Young say? And where? I've not seen anything and was cursing him for it.
-
10 IF we get him in

Scoggins just tweeted:
Race for N'Zogbia now has just one horse. -
Sure I just heard SSN say they're going to hear from Big Eck shortly.
-
^^ Amen to that, brother.
-
That's got rape written all over it, sadly we wouldn't be the ones doing it.
Not that I condone such actions.
-
In the case of Bent's transfer; stroke of getting your balls out!
Edit - I missed out the word 'out'. Fail.

Scoggins on Twitter:
In #avfc news.. £10m offered to #wafc for N'Zogbia made today. #safc also making a late move but player understood to favour Villa -
Hang on, what's Ian Taylor said about Joe Cole JulieB?
-
Unbelievable.

I'm with those who are spreading the blame out and not just laying it at SI's feet. Alot of things can be used to add up to what was a poor team performance. Though it does frustrate how we hear Ireland trains like a mad man, loads of effort, hunger, etc and it never seems to translate on the pitch? I'm still hopeful that's down to being rusty and let's be fair, he won't have that great an understanding with the lads just yet, in a game scenario I mean, because of lack of 1st team football. So a settled run of games, in the right system, could hopefully bring out more of him. If not, i'm sure Bannan will be used alot more.
