    Just finished Making a Murderer.

It gets a little bogged down, by necessity, in the trial phase, but it's never less than gripping. I watched half of it mouth agape at what I was seeing and hearing.

It's fantastic long form documentary making.

Just beware that your blood will boil as you watch. It's one of the most infuriating things I've watched.

Just finished watching. It was excellent, but I'm absolutely furious now.

The best Rush song I've ever heard was performed by Metallica. They covered Astronomy on their Garage Inc. album.

That's a Blue Oyster Cult track I think. Great song though.

  3. Any more unusual spelling and pronunciations of names because this is quite the thrill?

Did I ever post about the fellow I used to know whose name was Henry, only to give you an idea of how much of an individualist he was, he spelled it Hen3ry (the three was silent, you see).

    Tom Lehrer, nice one!

  4. That reminds me of a (kinda) joke. Londonderry is the only city in the world where the first 6 letters are silent taz.gif

    Tom Lehrer, well done sir!

It's rather good considering Mike Love is involved

Surprisingly good isn't it? I'm off to see them on Friday, hope it's a good one.

    How was it?

BTW Mike Love is still a knob

It was excellent, although Wembley Arena is about as soulless a venue as I've ever been to.

Brian was in good voice and seemed to enjoy it, as was Al. Mike was **** embarrassing though, absolutely zero stagecraft and comes across as a creepy clearing in the woods (funny that...). His vocals were also poor, but then he was never the greatest was he.

The backing band was predominantly the same as the one that supported Brian for the Smile tour I think. They were excellent, totally carried the show. Decent setlist too, not just the hits.
