Had a whisky tasting session this afternoon, Lagavulin 16, Oban 14, Johnny Walker Gold and Blue. Beautiful stuff, tasted the Lagavulin after blue cheese and it was **** delicious. The smokey aroma and blue cheese worked so well.

Trip to beers of the world after that and I bought some Dogfish Head ales. 120 min IPA, standard, Hoppy as ****, 1 pint and you can feel it, the Sah'Tea, spicy beer with late Chai flavorings. Got the Aprihop as well. Tastes okay but im not sure the strong hops and fruit go too well together.

Moving to the US has turned me into a right beer snob...........and i love it.

The blonde in the middle was our server and was lovely, we got fairly mullered!

I'd place her order.

Just finished reading 'A man in the net' by Patrick Quentin. Very good read, picked it up cheap 1p (plus p+p) of off amazon. If you like crime novels then this book is definitely for you. Started reading The Rotters Club the other day. Can't believe i haven't read it before, can't put it down.

Been working a bit now uni is over so can afford some decent grub finally. Cooked up a red pepper, asparagus, fried beef stir fry with a side of garlic glazed roasted new potatoes. Nicest meal all year. Forgot how nice asparagus was. As MON would describe it, it was "terrific".

Thats literally the first joke I can ever remember hearing. My uncle told it me when I must have been about 4. Found it hilarious at the time. 17 years later I'm not so sure.
