Agree with the above, but for me Gwen's fitter...

Aphex Twin, no question.

Yes! Levelled it 4-a-piece with Nightrange. Journey could be there too. All are soul destroying shite, sorry American corporate radio rock.

Can't choose between them. Both started off awesome and became overblown behemoths.
Totally agree.

I will confess to liking Queen, but Cage - definitely.

"She Lives (In A Time Of Her Own)" - 13th Floor Elevators

Scott Walker - The Seventh Seal. Strange lyrics, awesome crooning.
Aleksei Stanchinskii (Stanchinsky) - Piano Preludes. Ethereal and beautiful.

To the Strong City crew:

Erm, patience.Paitents is a word which shall be treated slowly with care. The longer you wait, the better your rewardOh, I dunno. I think patients should be treated with care, maybe even slowly too.

To move on to the next level we have to have players who are composed on the ball, can pass well, can move off the ball (and not just when the pass is going to them), that can control a ball in tight situations and are hungry for success. We need these players all over the pitch.
Wise words, OMVF.
I don't think we have ANY players that fit your description (OK, Barry and Petrov might just squeeze in).
Some have suggested on here that we are only a couple of players short of being a top side. I think they may be in for a shock when the window opens.
Definitely agree.
As far as passing is concerned, we're a very English team and a long way from the top four.

Possibly, though, we're now beyond buying the best of the recently relegated teams...

They might be giants... Err, except for Barry Bannan!

I love the bloke, but JPA has always been more of a symbol than a hero. When we bought him, it felt like the one time Ellis relented to fan pressure, was forced to get his cheque book out and show some genuine ambition. He cost 9.5 million -alot, but at a time when everyone cost alot (not just John Gregory's signings).
The other thing is his good patches have always come when Villa were doing well - even including earlier this season - so there is this added euphoria surrounding him.
To be honest, against Wigan on Monday I would rather have seen him come off the bench than either Ashley Young or Luke Moore. To have had that bit of experience and nous up front would have been telling IMO. As it was, it was all youthful headless chicken stuff.
But clearly he's not in this manager's plans so that's that...

You're younger than I thought if you did GCSEs...

"Traditionally" there's a last-minute rush, so fingers crossed...

wonder whether MON is onto plan D yet (escape Villa park in pod)?

This is almost as bad as people saying they were "underwhelmed" when the transfer window had been open 5 days.

Now that's a great song. "The Sky is Crying" too.
