I'm tempted by 7/2 against an erratic Everton. I probably won't bet due to visions of Cahill scoring and our manager being shit.

"McJobs"

There's a Wetherspoons not far from Lime Street with a taxi rank outside. I've shared taxis with Everton fans in the past to keep the cost down. They're generally a sound bunch.

Football is getting so sterile these days. It would be nice to have the choice between standing and sitting (like when wiping your arse).
-
Fellaini and Arteta will be out. Saha is probably out and Cahill will likely be 50/50.
This is giving me false hope.
-
makoun should have scored
The key point of the game. What was it, 44 minutes? If Jean Deux had scored I'm confident we would've won. Just like Young's penalty at Bolton the result hinged on it.

Who do you want ? and do you want a short term appointment to the end of the season
Are you as drunk as I am now? Who the **** are we going to get in before the end of the season, other than Mr Majeika (if any of you remember that word removed), that will rectify our current malaise?

One of his best...
Superb stuff, the dialogue is punchy and funny and the black and white cinematography is faultless, with some truly innovative camera work. Great, great movie.
Chapter 1 yadda yadda yadda. Beautiful film. He's quoting Kierkegaard and dating a 17 year-old. Life imitating art. Who else can write, direct and star in a film like him.

Well if being able to see that Houllier is not capable of getting us out of the shit long before others could see it makes me smug then I'll take being smug any day. Thank you and goodnight.
So you admit it's a "I told you so" message yes?
If it makes you so happy to think that it is an 'I told you so' message then have it as just that. I really don't give a flying ****.
I take that as a yes then.
Take it as whatever you like. You are obviously one of those people who have to be right all of the time and keep on and on until you get the answer that suits you.
And you don't?
Sorry, I don't recall repeatedly asking the same question until I got the answer that I wanted so what relevance or point does your comment have?

Yes, we appointed the wrong manager after MONg legged it but do any of you really believe Randy will get someone new in with eight games to go?
-
Defeat. At home. To Wolves.
It doesn't get much worse than that. What the **** is in the idea of bringing Pires on? I have never had any faith in Houllier and the only way he is getting his p45 is relegation. Randy has backed him and will stick with him until the summer (at least). I really fear for us at the moment.

Will be watching Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans this evening... Anyone seen it???
It's a good film. Nicolas Cage is off his head in it co-starring with some iguanas.
-
Beautiful result. Watched it up Broad St in the vicinity of some of their amazing fans who couldn't make the one mile journey to the sty. Relegation

Just read that about 3,000 turned up for their 'civic reception' today

honestly cannot remember feeling this down after a defeat.
Really? This season alone I've felt worse after Newcastle, Vienna, Stoke, sha, Liverpool and Citeh.
-
I think the guardian match report gets it right...Houllier's men scarcely put together one noteworthy attack and showed a peculiar lack of interest in a game that could have invigorated a dwindling season.
This is what pissed me off the most. Gabby was laughing his head off, what's up with him?
-
For **** sake. We lost away to a team 9 places above us in the league, why can't there ever be sensible discussion in the r&r thread.
Citeh were there for the taking tonight IMO. That team selection put paid to any hopes of us playing Reading in the QF. We'll get **** Manyoo next season.
-
What's French for 'out'?
-
Mmmmmmmmm, pancake.
Kudos to the fans who traipsed up there. We are usually shit on national TV.
-
Merde. Je ne comprends pas Houllier le word removed.
-
...now for the subs. What a joke.
-
It'll be 3-0 and then he'll bring on a sub.
-
Houllier has been talking a good game pre-match and then he selects this team. It beggars belief.
-
That Oldham game was a disaster. Citeh definately brought a banner supporting us to VP 92/93.

Non, monsieur.
We're stuck with him and I can see him being here until December at least.
