80's music hands down beats the crap out of stuff today. Its so bland and boring.

General, i don't want to make excuses because i wasn't there and didn't see what happened but over here we have a different culture.

To be honest drinks on the floor and broken bottles is pretty much the norm and i can imagine the scenes when the winner went in because iv'e seen it other times at other places. Holes in the ceiling is unnacceptable and maybe people threw things when we scored which is not acceptable.

I do think though that most of this sort of damage would not have been intentional. Invites are the way to keep going if this isn't the sort of thing you wan't regularly.

So here's the dealio. One of my best mates is a scum fan (I know Iknow, but he is of the minority in the fact that he isn't a complete penis and i can actually have an intelligent conversation with him about the two teams) and I've watched all but 2 villa blues prem derbies around his house with a load of mates and his family, a great mix of blues and villa fans, (even though some of his family ARE the stereotypical scum fan) anyway, it's a good laugh and a hell of a lot better than getting glassed down the pub during the match.

Point is, the only two I didn't watch at his house (I was at Uni) we won. He rang me today to invite me round for yet another Villa vs Blues game...do I attend?!

Tell him bollocks. You've gotta take this one for the Villa and stay at home all day on your own.

If we lose this one we now know its because Stevo betrayed us all and watched the match and needs to be banned.

They're players who have either fighting spirit or this game means something to them and the scum don't have anywhere near as many and thats why we have the edge this time. We need to go out with no fear, no playing too defensively or for a draw and get stuck into them because they're team is very inexperienced and we can really rattle them.

General, a little complaint here.

Today was the first time i sat inside the Trinity upper for about 9 years. The last time i sat there it had yet to be rebuilt.

I dont know if you've seen any old photo's but it was a really nice stand. Not just from the outside with its mural and windows and fancy staircase at one end but also inside had real character and you felt like you were sitting inside somewhere that had real stories to tell.

Sitting in it today i was really disapointed to see how it had been rebuilt. Its like a warehouse. All metal with no charm.

Now i know its not the boards fault and theres no way its going to be rebuilt but is there anyway we can improve on it? There is nothing inside most of it, its really dismal and bland. Is there a way we can help it regain any form of character inside and outside?

Do the club have any plans on improving it?

General if we manage to average 39,000 it will be our highest for 57 years. The fans believe.
