Small time rocket polishers
Seconded, Rob. I know it was only Burnley but "empty seats, my Lord, empty seats!"

And Spurs are in the top 4 for total number of passes and total number of completed passes.
Ah brilliant, to be fair any team could do this, just keep passing the ball side to side 5 yards and then hoof it forward. And what do you get, SPURS!
This!
End of chat!

This thread wouldn't even be half the length if it wasn't for Glaston. Most of the thread is reacting to his ludicrous posting. If we're obsessed with anything we're obsessed with him!
And I reckon that's what he wants us to feel.

Good call, POB.Chocolate mini rolls. Would have 10+ a night if I wanted too. -
Maltesers. I love 'em!

Mike Oldfield - Tubular Bells II
OK, it's an album not a track but who's complaining?

Neil Young - Heart Of Gold

Quality, Rob. Quality!

I suspect today will see the return of Glaston.
The guy's a wind-up merchant. He loves to get a reaction. Best thing to do is ignore him and any of his posts.

Except it didn't strike his arm, as the replays show clearly.
I have looked at the replays several times. On first viewing it looked like he controlled it with his arm (at 0:34 and 1:19) and I say that without my claret and blue glasses on. It looks different from different angles, so I dispute your use of the word "clearly".
Anyway, it's all academic now and you definitely deserved your point from the game.

Well ....
Typical Villa at the moment if I may say so: score from a set piece (a scrappy goal in this case), then sit back, defend well, well-organised and hope to hit on the counter ... it ain't pretty, but it's often effective.
It doesn't matter if it trundles over the line from 4 inches out or busts the net from 40 yards out at 100mph, it still counts as a goal.

High scoring draw - 2-2 or 3-3 I reckon.

Thanks all!

What Rob said.Just make sure you beat small heath, or a lot of the good vibes you get off Villans on this site will disappear as fast as **** -
If spuds get CL next season it could mean we will struggle big time to ever catch them again
They some how seem to make money hand over fist already and with a new 56k stadium about 4 or 5 years off will be way out of our leagie in terms of finances and if they get CL the big names will turn up
Agree totally with this.
I'm interested to know more about how Spurs generate their income. Perhaps if Glaston or Joey55 are about sometime they could give us all a brief overview.

Actually, I'll retract that. If plop were in the CL still I'd say yes, but now I'm not so sure. If they qualify for next season's CL and FSW goes in the summer I'd say yes (unless Spuds get CL).

How quickly do you reckon 'Arry would jump off the Spurs wagon if offered Liverpool?
In the blink of an eye.

We've started drinking Oatly non-daily as a milk replacement. Made from oats it tastes a bit like thin porridge but you soon get used to it. Better than soya milk which tastes like wet cardboard.

We need to combat their midfield, I think 4-5-1 possibly for this one.
Could not agree more.
We need to approach this match like we did the Chelsea and Citeh games. Anything less will not do. Luckily, I can't make this game - like I missed the Bolton game - so we'll probably win.
We played 4-4-2 against Citeh and Chelsea...
Sorry, I didn't mean that we should necessarily play 4-5-1 against Spurs. I meant we should play with the same fight and determination that we showed against Citeh and Chelsea. My apologies if that didn't come across.

James Milner was there at the Big Bang.
