Just wildly speculating but I wonder if the potential new Chinese owners would consider buying out the under armour deal and replacing it with Chinese manufacturer Li-Ning. Not for the up coming season but the season after. Doubt UA would care about losing us and it would provide the Chinese brand an international audience. As I said just bored and speculating.

The kit would fo already been designed back in Jan or Feb so to get iot made, way to late now

  2. Looks like UK businessmen

A group of Aston Villa-supporting businessmen are in pole position to purchase the club from Randy Lerner in a deal which could rise to £100m, according to Sky sources.

The consortium - which is partly based in the UK, partly in mainland Europe - is now carrying out due diligence having been given access to the club's accounts.
Significant progress has already been made as American Lerner looks to sell the club he has owned for almost a decade.

Sky Sports News HQ understands there are as many as eight groups which have come forward to buy the now-relegated Premier League club.

The departure of Mervyn King and David Bernstein from the board has left the club in turmoil. However cost-cutting and the announcement of 500 job losses at Villa Park, has cleared the path for meaningful takeover talks.

Negotiations were continuing on Thursday with lawyers in Birmingham and London and are at a key stage, with sources indicating significant progress towards a deal could be made in the next 48 hours.

Adult season ticket prices have been reduced across the stadium for the 2016/17 campaign.

Your support will be invaluable as we look for a swift return to the Premier League.

Your support has been outstanding as always this term and we want you to be with us for next season's journey as we aim for promotion back to the top-flight, with derby games against the likes of Blues and Wolves on the horizon.

Season tickets are on sale to supporters from Wednesday April 27.

Prices start at £325 for adults or £14.13 per game, with top-priced tickets at £595.

Junior prices begin at £85 or £3.69 per game.

Anyone who buys their season ticket - or renews it - by May 31 will have the price fixed on their seat for the following 2017/18 season.

Fans can continue to spread payments interest-free over four and nine months via the Zebra Finance scheme if purchased before May 27.

You'll also receive a 3% Villa Cash balance too.

Villa Cash is a rewards scheme that runs each season from August 1 to July 31 - and season ticket holders are automatically enrolled.

You can choose to spend your Villa Cash balance how you like - on home tickets, merchandise, stadium tours, events, soccer schools or hospitality.

As part of the season ticket holder package, you'll also get our first home Cup game of the term FREE as well as priority access to away tickets.

There will also be an additional 500 economy seats available in certain areas of the ground.

Further details on key renewal dates, deadline dates and other important information will be released early next week.

A small reduction but seeing we are in the Championship I expected sub £500

  4. To make any protest have impact it needs to be unique, never seen before, we have seen walk outs, delayed walk ins, whistles, banners and mask, Just look at the one with the arrows pointed at the goal

    Flourescantarrows.jpg

The reason it made headline is because it have never been done before, also it is a fun protest which on to another point being a protest should not hinder other fans enjoyment of the game that dont want to participate. There for this fun ones kind of add to the spectacle

Players have been saying FU since around November,  if not before.  When did the protests start? New board? Same owner

Lerner is going nowhere so protesting about that wont make it happen

We're not running out of ideas now, don't worry. Got about 4/5 legitimate ideas in the tank now between ourselves and VT.

We've already said that protest inside the ground next season is unlikely, we'd have to give the team a chance regardless of what we think of ownership at that point. Hence the need for it now whilst we have nothing to play for on the pitch.

We only ha d 3 home games and one could be the game we relegate Newcastle so why protest for that, plus why not give the board a chance now, plus it is obvious the player are basically saying FU to us because we are protesting

  7. Just dont all arrive at 2.30 or before and wait in the concourse as that could lead to issues with numbers and space, plus imagine if the club refused entry after 3pm  thousands of fans in the upper holte concourse sounds an issue.

also you can be banned for blowing a whistle at a football ground

That's a really good idea!!! I'll definitely contribute to some whistles for that!

The problem with that is like the ball throwing you may cause the game to be halted, The ref may just stop the game

You may think it won't change anything, there's a good chance it won't change anything... but on the off-chance that it does, then it has to be worth it, surely?

Doing nothing isn't the answer to Villa's problems. The fans at Villa Park have been far too patient over the past few years and look where we are now? Maybe if we did more protests and were more vocal 5 years ago about how Villa was being mis-managed, we wouldn't be in the mess we're in now? We will never know.

If you don't think it's worthwhile then don't join in, that's fine.

The board has already changed, the manager has changed and the media know had bad we are, job done. We cannot force Lerner to go as we still need someone who wants to take over which if he sees what stick he may get looks a long shot.

We have to see what will happen now but I feel we are treading over old ground we wont to forget not relive
