As the original poster of this thread I just wanted to add a few things.

Firstly this thread was only started to get everyone's opinions and was not intended to offend any particular player , i agree that the word "worst" should have been "most disappointing" but unfortunatly it was to late to edit it .

I am curious to know of all the people who did not want to vote (which is perfectly fine), if they like myself engages in conversation regarding villa players , like how there playing and if they are playing well because thats all i was trying to chat about .

I too support the team whoever is picked , i have never boo'ed villa and i never will (even barry) .

It probably comes down to whether you believe the players read (or get to hear about) the stuff we write on here.

To run alongside the player of the year thread I thought we could run this to see the worst or players that have not performed this season so far.

I decided my top 3 (or bottom 3) would be

1: Petrov . I think our formation has not helped but has failed so far to repeat his form from last season .

2: Ash Young . It seems to me he is very hit and miss whenever i watch him play i mean his cross against man u was sublime but overall he has not had the consistancy.

3: Steve Sidwell . I went for sidwell in 3rd place although he is not in the team right now he has played enough games for me to believe he is simply not good enough ! .
