  1. IMO, if Mayweather is going to win, it will be on points, but there again I had Graham Earl to beat Amir Khan!! More out of hope as my lad has done work with his trainers.

I have had a tenner on Ricky to beat him between rounds 7-9, but must say am worried by the class and reach advantage of the pretty one

amir khan will go all the way. his speed and power like that at that weight is scarey.

Just want to see how he reacts when a class fighter gets in his face. The Scottish bloke did it a while back and he was ordinary. Was really expecting Earl to give him a stiff test, fair play to Amir.

Which channel are you watching on?

Some of them when I try to load say the channel is offline, and the others available just wont load for me?

  2. General,

Very proud of the boys today. A brilliant second half performance and I can't remember ever feeling this upbeat after a defeat before.

But just a quick comment re: away fans in the home end. I sit in the Trinity Rd stand and a few seats away from me today were two Arsenal fans. It was a man and his son, both were wearing Arsenal shirts and Arsenal scarves. They didn't cause any trouble, didn't even celebrate when they scored, they just went to enjoy the football. But it annoyed me that they obviously were allowed in the ground with no problems when they are clearly fans of the opposition, we wasn't to know what their intentions were, they could've been there to cause trouble with the Villa fans. But luckily for us, these two were well behaved throughout the game.

Just thought I'd let you know as I'd like to see our stewards start turning people away if they are quite clearly a fan of the opposition.

Sorry about the rant General, other than that I have nothing to complain about. Martin, Randy, yourself and the rest of the board have completely transformed this football club, and I can't thank you enough for that.

  3. No question for me, Rooney.

I'd rather drop Owen than Rooney to be honest.

I can't understand that MM. Owen is an absolute legend who is so taken for granted it's untrue.

He'll alomst certainly be Englands top goalscorer... ever ever! I mean put that into perspective for a second.

Yeah, probably, if he can stay fit.

But the truth is you can never rely on him to get a good run of games behind him. On his day he is world class, there's no doubt about it, but so is Rooney and he has more to his came to benefit England than Owen in my opinion.

I was speaking hypothetically anyway. There's no way either of them will get dropped, especially for Crouch. But if I had to pick one of them to sit on the bench, I'd go for Owen, just because I think an on form Rooney is unstoppable and would offer more to the team.

  4. I prefer Hatton myself, I love the way he is, met him once before and just seemed such a top bloke.

I met him about two years ago in a nightclub in Tenerife. Top bloke, he was getting mobbed by everyone, but had time for all his fans and was happily posing for pictures and having a bit of banter, as I said, top bloke.

I've always liked him as a boxer, but since then I've become a massive fan of his. He has now become to me, the boxing version of Villa

Anyway as for the original question, Hatton would beat Calzaghe, no doubt about it.

  5. General krulak here:

    1. You all know Randy...he will play this totally straight and above board. He is a sportsman and will act as such. We will go to the game and watch MON and his lads win...we will then entertain them at Villa Park, at a fair price, and apply another defeat to them. We will not do anything other than play it straight. There is no question that we hope fans go to the game...the Squad needs them there yelling!

    Confident of victory then General?

Good man... beating them is a wonderful feeling. It will be something you never forget when you experience it for the first time.

  6. I'm a big Mourinho fan, I know the general opinion of him is mixed, but I've liked him ever since that first press conference of his. He's a character, an entertainer and he gets people talking. On top of that he is a world class manager.... but even taking that into account, I actually can't think of one person I'd swap MON for right now.
