Very very weird Cuellar is out at right back again. I thought MON wanted Davies and Cuellar pairing, but when he doesn't try to play them together in pre-season matches you would think he has other plans.
Well we don't really have anybody else for RB at the moment considering Luke has a knock and Gardner isn't back in training yet.

gotta win today a loss would mess with heads (Fans and players)
I wouldn't be too concerned if we get too beat especially with the team we've put out.
This stage of pre season is all about fitness. I'll be happy just to avoid injuries.

I like the Style Council, in fact, I like anything Weller related
I will admit to having Abba's greatest hits on my iPod. Other than that, the selection of bands/artists in my music library is pretty shit hot

Does the game kick off at 8 or 7:45?

FOR SALE! 60,000 Arsenal flags, good as new condition, only been waved for 7 minutes

I turned the radio on just as they scored, all I hear is Tom Ross screaming like a clearing in the woods. I turned it straight back off again.
Come on Reading!!!

I'm new to Spotify, only downloaded it a few weeks ago and have hardly got chance to use it properly yet so I'm not too sure how it works.
Anyway, I have just added Whatever Happened To My Rock n Roll (Punk Song) by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

I was giving a bit of stick to a bluenose earlier and his response
"I don't care about the Preston game... Martin Laursen is retiring, I love it when Villa **** up"
Typical nose.

Yep, I'm the 3rd Chelmsley Wood Villa fan in a row on this thread!
Make that 4!
I've really enjoyed winding my next door neighbour up the last few days

Actually, Be Here Now is half decent, I think history might have been a bit unkind to it because it gets compared to the utter brilliance of Oasis' 94-96 period. I often wonder how Noel Gallagher feels about "wasting" so many classic tunes as B-Sides on singles from Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory. The B-Side compilation The Masterplan is as good as the first two studio albums and a better collection of songs than most bands will manage over an entire career.
Standing on the Shoulder of Giants is a shower of shite though. Probably Oasis' worst record, and the fact that they constantly ignore it when they play live speaks volumes.
Be Here Now is my favourite album of theirs. It is just mental. Don't Go Away is one of Liam's best vocals. They always ignore this album live as well, mainly because of Noel's hatred of it. They played My Big Mouth live once on this tour then scrapped it.
Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants is a poor album, but has one of the best Oasis tracks on it in Gas Panic. It is certainly a 'hidden gem' as not many people seem to know about it. It is epic live as well, they should really bring it back into their set.

I love Blur, one of my favourite bands of all time and I cannot wait to see them at Glasto and Hyde Park this summer.
But nobody compares to Oasis for me. They are my favourite band, listening to them got me into what I call 'proper' music and I have seen them live more than any other band. Without them I wouldn't have discovered, the Stone Roses, The Beatles, The Smiths, Dylan, Neil Young etc...
Oasis > Blur.

Great band.
Their album is probably my favourite from this year. I really want to see them live.

Gen,
Just a quick question. How is Freddy Bouma doing?
-
Gen,
Just a little moan about the coverage of the game on AVTV.
I think it is an excellent idea to stream the game online, and the picture quality for an online stream is excellent. However, there is no sound, which was quite disappointing considering a lot of people had paid money just to watch the game via the OS.
It wasn't much of a problem for me as I managed to find a radio link for commentary, but I'm sure there are many watching who will have no sound for 90 minutes.
If the club decide to stream more games on the OS in future, please look into correcting this problem, because sound aside, the overall quality is excellent.
Now after saying that, the second half coverage has managed to get worse still. Not only is there no sound, there is now also no picture!
Please look into this for us General.

Even if he did hand in a transfer request it wouldn’t change the fact Liverpool aren’t meeting our valuation of the player so what difference would it make? It appears Alonso is staying at Liverpool anyway so I hope all the shit this summer can be forgotten and Barry can carry on playing good football for us. Minus the captains armband of course.
If Liverpool buy him for £18m and he doesn't hand in a transfer request he is entitled to around £2m of the fee, meaning Villa get £16m.
If he hands in a transfer request he loses the right to any pay off, but Villa would then be in a position to accept a bid of £16m as we would be no worse off.
It just comes down to how much he wants the move or how greedy he is.

Went to V a few years back when Oasis headlined and that was pretty immense.
Agree, it was brilliant.
It was probably their best performance of that whole tour. Liam actually sounded good which is unusual these days!
The whole atmosphere at V was great, I'd like to go back at some point, but Glasto remains the daddy of festivals.
-
Glastonbury is the best festival, went last year and loved it.
I was at V in 2005 which was ok, but you can't beat Glasto!
