Champions League experience, no transfer fee, can score a goal out of nothing against low block teams which is something we struggle to do. Ticks a lot of boxes.

Though, that said, I haven't exactly followed his career and have no idea on his personality but something has to be a bit off for Atleti to not extend his contract.

I think he'll end up back in France anyway.

How much monies are we looking at in fees, wages and availability to spend?

My calculations suggest that selling all those players with Moreno instead of Digne would mean we save about £30m a year in wages. However, if we were to sell Digne instead we'd save 8 billion a year.

I think if we get an offer north of £25-30m then he's gone. Though, not sure we would.

Think it's a smart move for a lot of reasons. If we an ship Dendonker and replace him with Barkley then that's a decent upgrade. 

We'd still need to sign a DM though, probably let Tim go out. 

I don't really care too much about the new badge but it is kinda horrible if you look at it for a few seconds and think about it.

The whole thing looks misaligned. 

Edit: Dropping the 1874 and moving the lion down a bit would help. And the alignment of the "Aston Villa" text looks way off.

Because it's the first time in a long time I can watch a Villa game without being insanely emotionally invested in everything that happens in the game and it's kinda nice. Shame it's 5-0 though.

We have nothing in midfield.  One of Duran or Watkins need to drop deeper to link play up. 

Duran has been shit. Nothing sticking up top between him and Ollie. 

Palace are a team that don't want the season to end and we're a team that are desperate for it to end. And you can see the on the pitch.
