I believe it is there and MON just hasn't got the players he wants yet and he won't pay over the odds either. I hope after all the years of Ellis that the conspiracy theorists are wrong.

General, In full support of Randy, yourself and everyone else but one small grip - Can we please have a change in the beer, no offense but being able to grab a bottle in quick time from the sandwich stall during half time is great, but the Carlsberg all season has tasted stale. No longer feel like a drink at half time purely because i'll regret it all second half.
I would go along with this General but to be fair others will say Carlsberg is fine.

General could we make just a very small section of Villa fans pay £50 for the small heath home game. This would mean we could charge there fans (who laugh about us paying £45) £50 as well. I am against upping ticket prices and appreciate the fact that Villa kept the prices down for us. For just this one game I think a lot of Villa fans would agree with me, as they to are sick of being ripped off by our not so illustrious neighbours.
I don't want to kidnap the General's thread, but along with others I complained to the Prem when they did it last time. Blues were "punished" for it (by being mae to charge us lot their lowest admission price for the next game at the Sty). The prem rules do not allow clubs to charge away fans more than home fans for the same level of accomodation. If Blues charge us 45 quid they have to charge their own fans in the same stand the same. Both sets of fans lose. It's an issue where Villa being as bad as Blues board - which is what is being suggested - is against the ethos of our board, and against the interests of Villa fans and football fans generally. Sorry for interjecting. Blandy

Didn't see this from the Holte but it's asking for trouble General. Also the food situation is really bad in lower holte. It seems to be getting worse.

2 before the start of season and 1 more before end of window.

...during the last few months the telephone service has got quite awful. It ususally takes at least 15-20 minutes of waiting on hold before you get to speak to a human. In the past I have never had to wait longer than 5 minutes (even during busy times)...
General I can second this. I called today and waited just over 15 minutes to speak to someone. I have to say the person I finally spoke to was friendly and helpful though. The reason for me phoning was I still have not recieved my ticket for Stoke. I was told to call tomorrow if it still has not arrived. I have to say I am slightly concerned that I wont recieve my ticket and then have to mess around tomorrow.

You can say that again

John posted this in " Fee agreed for NRC thread"
which I thought worthy of mention
is name is Reo and he dances on the sand
Just like that river twists across a dusty land
And when he shines he really shows you all he can
Oh Rio, Rio dance across the Villa Ground Laughing
I was thinking something to that tune but got stuck at
His name is Reo and he hates West ham

Thats a good point Gen. I too would be gutted if I missed out

I went for SWP. I hope it's not just wishful thinking.

We all want signings and are getting impatient but the signings will come.
-
We won't get Michael Owen.
-
We all want to see signings but most of the names linked are probably just paper talk. One thing for certain is MON won't be held to ransom, I think he has made that clear.
-
I will be pleased to see him in a Villa shirt. He is young with plenty of potential and better than Gavin McCann who, despite giving everything never convinced me fully as a top player. Lets hope this is just the start.

Beer is such a wonderful thing.

Always a case of what could have been, was a better prospect than Lampard at under 21 level IMO. Good luck to him for the rest of his career. One last comment I know he definitely is a Villa fan and not a nose.
-
If Parker is unsettled I don't see why he wouldn't come. As for Corradi - no I won't even bother.
-
Great post, we all need to be patient and pull together.

Foster is quality, should be Englands No. 1 IMO. Not sure as a loan signing though.

Gerrard... does he dive?
