Flights were about £1200 got a good deal cause thats premium economy direct to rio. The quarter final ticket was free from a brazilian supplier of mine that they were given by the brazilian export office. That includes Hotel for 2 nights in rio so should be good! Also got CRO v MEX + ITA v CRC + GER v GHA and there all in the north within a few days of each other so im being told there is some nice beach resorts up there which im saving for. Ive budgeted £10k for the whole trip and saved a fair bit up till now

it started with guesswork and then progressed to people using the buttons to walk around the map and pinpoint the exact location via street names

I didnt cheat at all.

I had one where i was 10km off as it was an ocean bar in adelaide which ive been to.

The rest were all close guesses. I do have a snapshot of the final map but i dont know how to upload lol

Got halfway through, Then my ps3 decides to give me the YLOD!!! 

Stole my brothers ps3 as he only plays xbox now, does anybody know a way where i can get a save game to get me halfway or something?

 

PS3 hard disks are encrypted in a way that they will only work wit the original console it came from... unless you format the disk so putting it into another one isn't an option, neither is plugging it into a PC as it's encrypted. I know this from experience

 

Though I did do the YLOD fix which got the PS3 working just long enough for me to copy off my most important save files so if you have the means and feel confident enough to do it, it may be worth a try.

 

Yeah i saw a few YLOD things but thought itd be easier to just try swapping hard disks but that didnt give me any save files. Which i know now why lol guess ill have to play fifa till i get bored enough of that to try gta v again. Or just wait for ps4 now save wasting my time lol cheers all

So I got the A5 S-line 2010.

Had it about two weeks now and absolutely love it! Handles well and nice and quick.

Only thing now is to get new alloys (think the standard Audi ones are a bit naff) and some window tints. Any recommendations on these?

From two jewellers, yup.  Jeweller #1 stated theirs had a larger number of facets than standard which makes up for the colour/clairty (allegedly).  I think it was 80-something as opposed to 68, called it "round brilliant" or some such.  Bear in mind I know bugger all about this kind of thing and am going off my hastilly scribbled notes.

A round brilliant can only have 57 or 58 facets. If he is saying it has more then it cant be a round brilliant cut and its very very unlikely that a stone of .33 will have anything other than round brilliant. What are you looking for exactly and I can try and help you out a bit more.

Right, got a question for any diamond enthusiasts/experts amongst us; which out of the two would be the better value for the money?

 

• 0.33 carat, I colour, I1 clarity with more facets for £1499
• 0.24 carat, G colour, SI1 clarity with less facets for £1350

Bear in mind that I'll be chancing my arm at getting the more expensive one to price-match with the cheaper one, in which case it'll purely be down to size vs. quality of each diamond.

Im guessing this is from a jeweller? Have they said to you that it has less facets on the cheaper one? I highly doubt that this is the case unless its a completely different shape.

Some websites have some tickets on at ridiculously high prices. Anyone know if ticketing sites like these are genuine? I wont post any as i think that was what i got a warning for last time

Theres a car in Wolverhampton im looking at getting but halesowen is much closer for me so since there in the same group i thought they would just be able to get it to halesowen for me. The wolverhampton guy wont let them have it. Seems i may have to trail all the way up to there then

The s-line does look much nicer. Think I'll be getting that then, gonna be living off bread and water for a year but be worth it. Been offered one for 200 quid more with bang & olufsen speakers. I always have music on when driving and sometimes quite loud (without trying to sound too chavvy) Is it worth having the b&o speakers if anyone has any?

Looking to get an A5 pretty sharpish.

Ive got two good offers - white s-line or black SE

Id much prefer the white but its a little more expensive. Question is- is it worth that £1000 more for an S-Line over an SE?

Went to Brazil in 2011,

Started in Rio for 5 days and then travelled round a bit. Went to Florianopolis (definitely worth the visit if you have the time). Then to Chapeco, nothing to do there lol Went all the way down to Porto Alegre but again not much to do. Although i did get interviewed for a Gremio radio station the local football team which was cool. Then headed of to iguacu - well worth the trip i reckon. Finally up and around Belo Horizonte but if youre not into cultural stuff (Im not tbh) then again possibly an avoidable place.

Rio itself though is ok if you dont go off the beaten track. I stayed around my hotel most of the time and tried to look as little as a tourist as possible. I think its getting much much safer. Im also planning on trying to get to the World Cup but moneys gonna be the thing that stops me

Started a game as villa, 7th in the league at Xmas then had the Xmas from hell, well done fm for being so realistic. In the space of 3 weeks I lost:

Decided to do my favourite thing and go on a career moving jobs after I've felt I've done enough at a club.
