I still believe because:

1) MON spent 9.5 mill on Ashley Young - he isn't afraid to spend

2) Newspapers link us with players we don't always want

3) We're playing good football at the moment

4) The transfer window hasn't shut

5) We're not the only club struggling to sign players

6) We've bought dross in the past and can't just sign anyone

7) Everything behind-the-scenes is improving

8) MON has publically stated that he KNOWS we need players (RB, etc.)

In regards to the Holte Hotel only holding 130.

Would there be any way to making match day a ticketing affair for the Holte? And that you have some sort of waiting list?

I used to go in the Holte Hotel on match days back in the 80's when i was finally old enough to get in. Now i live in Australia and would love to have a beer in the Holte again on match day when i make my trip back to England, but can't see this being very realistic if the limit is so low!

Even better would be a beer with you and Randy to thank you for all the good work your doing !

By the way...is there any guided tours at Villa Park for fans from abroad? That would be a dream to not only visit Villa Park looking a game (which is a dream within itself of course) but to actually have a look at the most places at Villa Park?

I see us discuss different players, then someone mentions Bent for the 100 time and then there's an obsessed Spud-fan who come in crying "Bent will go to us! Yes, maybe Bent will go to you, maybe you're better than us atm, but this is still a f**king Villa-board, not a Spud-board. You're welcome with your point of views to a certain extent, but to endlessly defend your club in our forum will be met with too many pleased words. If I wanna know anything about spuds I go to your forums, I won't go here to discuss it to this extent. I'm fed up. You don't have to tell us everytime someone mentions Bent that he's going to you. Sorry to bring up the TV deals saga again, but hows this for a possible solution....

The FA and SKY strike up a deal where theres a time frame to when games can be moved, i.e. 2 months notice, that way everyone gets fair warning, and SKY can't make last minute changes. Surely SKY and the FA can arrange this.

How about Peter Schmeichel, the 1st anyone new of the Greatest keeper of the last 20 years signing, was when he walked into the press conference! The press rely on Big mouthed agents, speculation or clubs trying to get a good deal for there players!

IMO reading VT is more realistic than reading the tabloids!

sounds to me like we've still a fair bit of Randy's billions to spend, seeing as the only outlay so far will be the 8or9 mil for young when he signs, this seems like peanuts to me

If its a keeper we're looking at then we should have a go for Matt Murray at wolves, IMO he's a future England keeper, although i can't knock foster either!
