  1. players we have been linked with for them postitions who would u choose RB- P.Bardsley , R.Spearman , L.Young , G.Halford LB- G.Bale CB-C.Davis CM-J.Barton, RW-J.Milner,S.W.Phillips,Z.Gera, D.Karama ST- A.Smith,J.Defoe,R.Keane,D.Bent,D.Nugent,K.Davies, Out of them players their is 4 i cud see coming in and they are R.Spearman,Z.Gera,A.Smith on loan and the one big signing J.Barton . I would be happy with that till the summer but these 4 players would cover problem areas like rb-rw-cm-st
  2. if a forward comes in in january i think it will be nugent or smith
  3. Aston Villa are being linked with a late move for Manchester United fullback Phil Bardsley. Bardsley is expected to join Sunderland on-loan from tomorrow, but Villa manager Martin O'Neill is ready to make a £1 million offer to sign the youngster outright
  4. see we have been linked to kevin davies in the notw today. good target man would replace sutton but why would he wanted to leave bolton when they are doing so well. All are targets seem so hard to get i still hope for 3-4 players coming in
  5. The wingers most likely to be wearing a Villa shirt next month is . A.Young or Z.Gera . people dreaming of SWP u are living in a dream world . He would cost to much money and numbers are more important ,i.e 4- 5 players coming in around 6 million each
  6. Pardew just said he was not selling bent but if a good offer came in for bent what was good deal for charlton he would do it. come on Randy prove people wrong and lets see the colour of ur money
  7. No one will let a top forward go till the summer keane cos uefa cup , bent cos he said he wants to help charlton stay up . Nugent is the only other option but i rather have proven smith till the summer
  8. I reckon we will get 3-4 players , they r :- Richard Stearman Curtis Davis Alan Smith (LOAN) Zoltan Gera i would be very happy with them and in the summer thats when it really starts i cant see bent or keane being allowed to leave till the summer
  9. I really hope we keep Baros i still have faith he can be a hit , he got about 12 last year and was injured a fair bit . Need another forward with pace are team is so slow, gabby one to watch but still raw. I think Bent would be awesome signing but would baros and him work . The dream partnership would be Keane such a good link up play . Angel needs to be the one sold let Gabby and Luke move forward. 7 million seems fair price for keane
  10. would people be happy with Alan Smith, myself would not be he does work hard . He is a m.o.n player a battler but we need a 20 goal forward not another angel or baros . 6 month loan deal would be ok for this season but if we brought him i can only see 10-12 goals a season in him
  11. Barton is a lot better then what we have . He is poor mans Gerrard but a very good player ,he has the same driving force as Gerrard . Midfield is are real problem their is no class just lots of effort ,5.5 million would be a top class signing
  12. Found this on fansfc.com Old Trafford star to agree Aston Villa loan move 15:11 12/29/2006 Alan Smith is on his way to Aston Villa Football Club in January, according to rumours in Manchester. Mail The Aston Villa Journo Leave A Comment On Our Message Board Send This Article To A Friend The former Leeds United striker suffered a horrific leg and ankle injury during an FA Cup tie at Liverpool earlier this year, and although he is now fit again, he has struggled to get into the Manchester United team this term. Sir Alex Ferguson revealed last month that he is happy to see the player leave Old Trafford in a loan move, despite the 26-year-old saying he would prefer to stay and fight for his place. However, with Henrik Larsson set for United in January, Smith knows his chances of regular action will suffer a fresh blow, and rumours suggest he is ready to accept a six-month loan stint at Villa.
