  1. But, yeah. There are definetely alot of compromising with the 1metre^3 blocks.

Currently working on the facade of Holte End, and it's shaping up nicely.

So, at the Trinity side, the road outside is a few metres elevated, compared to the pitch, right? Do you have any plans making the interior of the stands, by the way? I want to do them, but I probably can't as I have no idea how they look inside, for the most part.

  2. Yeah, I'm building in creative mode. Didn't know about the flat earth-feature, but TNT is my friend!

Have had a little break for a week, but now I've started the Holte. Been looking forward to that all along :D

How's the Holte coming along, fasadewise for your part?

  3. Yeah, I also noticed the incline, but havent started Trinity yet, so hopefully I'll prepare so I don't run into those kinds of troubles.

I found Google Earth to be very helpful, because they have a scale (?). I found I've built Ellis to deep, it's about 10 metres deeper than it should be. North Stand was more or less spot on, though.

Spent bigger parts of this day rebuilding the outside of Ellis after Google Earth came into the picture :P

  4. I also started a Villa Park project in Minecraft a week ago or, so.

Just found out, to my big frustration that I'be built the Ellis Stand about 30 metres too short. And having made half of the fasade, and it being all symmetrical, that is very frustrating. It means I have to build the whole fasade over again :(

  5. Living in Norway i'ts highly unlikely I would be on the match. However, if he wen't to Liverpool at this point I would have a really hard time forgiving him. In fact, I think I never will. He's had 10 years in the club, and when the club finally get ambition, and things are improving in record speed on the pitch, he plays great for one half of the season and goes right of to the club who finished nothing more than 2 positions above us. Also, I think he would have a hard time competing with Mascherano, wich in all fairness is a better player. It wouldn't further his England career either. I just wouldn't understand him. And probably never forgive him.

  6. Voted #3, looks the best to me. Hopefully it has to be updated in some years, though ;)

#2 Was a bit annoying with the chess pettern, and #4.. Well, that just looks completely awful.

  7. I'd like to add I'd hate to see us NOT signing Carson, wich in a way would be losing him as we've been so heavily rumoured to sign him and him talking about how much he wants a permanent deal. Would be a class goalkeeper for years to come IMO

I voted for Ashley, though, he has tremendous potential. Even though Gabby, Barry and Laursen would also be major blows to see out the door. Carew is great at his best, but replaceable at a fair price. A prospect the class of Gabby would be very expensive, Barry is an England International and Laursen has been immense this season. All would be very costy to replace.

  8. So, you're saying only the hummel pants are quality? hehe.

I bought the nike made Brazil shirt for the 1998 world cup almost 10 years ago. I was 11, and it was Aus$110. HEAPS for me at the time, but I still wear it now, it is in excellent condition, and it has proved to be an excellent value purchase considering it looks only slightly worn after 9 years.

Very, very happy with Nike. In fact, the day after the deal was announced I bought myself some nike air runners to celebrate, and they are awesome too!

mate, why are you wearing clobber that you brought 10 years ago?

I got the homejersey for the 94/95 season when I was 9, and it still fits, so of couse I wear it. Was pretty large on me when I got it, though :P

  9. In my opinion the Hummel shirts are no different to the Nike shirts, oh and another thing you all only dislike hummel because their Hummel, they are not known so instantly you dismiss them as shit, pathetic really.

So a brand name doesn't carry any weight does it? What about kids/teenagers? getting them to buy a Nike shirt will be far easier than getting them to buy a product like Hummel.

I think people are missing the bigger picture here, quality is just one aspect (and FWIW I think generally the quality of Nike shirts is better), but the whole marketing side of it too.

Nike is a more internationally recongnise brand, and will be far easier to sell to key market areas like kids/teenagers.

Also have to remember that Nike-shirts will be far more easy to get the hold of than a Hummel-shirt. The distribution of Nike is unique, and it will probably be sold everywhere in the world.

  10. Barry to play in centre of midfield

    Bouma Left back

Bring in someone like Taylor would can cover the left wing and LB positions. sounds good to me

Sounds good to me too...but where to put Young?

    Sorensen

    ? Mellberg Laursen Bouma

    Maloney Petrov Barry Young

    Agbonlahor Carew

I think the team looks quite ok. I would put energy on the right defence and right midfield. A new goalie that would push Sorensen or even take over his place. A central defender of bigger class than what we got. A central defensive midfielder together with a maestro attacking midfielder. A proven striker and a left winger...and we´re ready for the new season!

Boruc, if rumours says right he will be great for us

Ferreira, or another in the same class

Shaun Wright Phillips, or another in the same class

Matt Taylor, if rumours says right I am ok with this

Phil Jagielka, if rumours says right I am ok with this

    Central defender of high class

Central defensive midfielder of high class

    Striker of high class

The areas where I havent put a name into it is where we should go BIG...that would take the team to another level and improve us hugely. As you can see I expect at least 8 new signings this summer...C´mon Martin!

Young plays with both feet and is equally effective on the right wing

His right foot is far better, and I'm a bit surprised he's been playing wide left taht much since arriving.

  11. On the topic, I have to say I abselutely agree! I'm reading a lot on this forum, and I'm baffled every time I see someone saying they are losing patience with MON. It's just unbelieveble. He has been here almost one season, had a fantastic start, then things didn't go so good. He has had three new players come in mid-season, and some already attack Young; a 21 year old striker who has been playing more on the left side. Carew has been fantastic, and I'm sure things will be getting better the next season. No matter how this season ends, MON has to have a lot more time before anyone can start saying he's a failure.

On Stan Petrov. Same thing with him. He had a good start, and has played large parts of the season with an injury. He might not have played as good as many expected, but he has changed league and contry, and many players have needed a season to adjust to the Prem, and the excelled. If people won't give both MON and Petrov another season, before starting the judgement, I don't understand how they are thinking.

  12. If you give up on even trying to sign top players because you believe other clubs are "bigger" than us. Then in my eyes you are losers. Have faith in MON, go for it , we just might sign some of these players you think are too good for us.Jam tomorrow. no thanks, I've got more ambition than that. And we've played second fiddle to those scouse, cockney. Mancunian rocket polishers for long enough.

I kind of have to agree with you. Take a look at West Ham and their Marscherano/Tevez signings. Now, those two have far from been a success, and might not ever be at that club, but it shows that it's possible to sign players who are targeted by some of the largest clubs in the world, actually.

On the other hand, a realistic view has to be kept, and I don't think we need to only focus on the massive signings to move forward.
