Haha, PauloBarnesi. Yes, I did notice the Osbourne comment, but to be fair, at this level (and in the Championship when he was on loan) he does look ok. The other comment was quickly corrected by another poster. And neither of those comments detract from what was said about Bannan, who I thought played very well tonight and did look like he might have that extra something about him that might enable him to make the step up.

Sample comments from the Redcafe match thread tonight: Bannan was something tonight, Villa have got a gem there. Villa thoroughly deserved the win and it could have been more emphatic.
