  1. God I hate the Donkey....so much.

Carew needs to get in form soon, Heskey's touch is awful and he just wanders around aimlessly in the middle of the field.

    Still hate him??

Open your eyes he's played really well last 5 games, like i always say, he'll never win some people over, even if he scores in the next 3..he misses one chance and some chumps get on his back again

    5 in 30! YAYYYYY

as many as a centre back YAYYYYYY

He is bottom of the table quality. Incidentally thats who he excels in scoring against.

    Ah mate

    Come on....

Obviously your one of the people that just dont like him. Thats fine. Your opinion and got no problem with it but fact is he's been better than Carew this season and deserves to be playing. Fact is he has more goals than Carew this season and final fact before you update your little table below is that if this was Carew in similar goalscoring form it would be an absolute carew wankfest so lets give the big man some credit shall we....

carews out of form, and if it doesnt improve he needs to go for the greater good. Heskey is never in form..... hes a **** useless striker who is a waste of space and the reason MON wont go to 451.

Amazes me how a few games ago everyone was of the consensus he was doing crap or that you had to support him like a little lemming. All of a sudden people forget......

soon they will realise that a few good results have masked the front we are relying on gabby to score up front whilst that fat **** thinks hes a midfielder and be back to wondering why our form fell apart...

and then like good lemmings they will cheer him on again. not look at the bigger picture that without him we would be better off.

  3. If we play 442 we will lose.

If we play 451 we will win.

    SUPERFACT!

Or even, if we have to start 442. and go ahead, and maybe be under pressure we could revert to 451 to see out the game!!

Sorry, that would be tactics! lets use Carew as a Defender and Ashley as a rigth back! Wahey!

You still don't realize we switched to 4-5-1 to see out the Man Utd game? You know, when NRC came on, and he held five fingers up, and yelled "FIVE!" to everyone, and Gabby ran to the right and stayed there for the rest of the match? Was it really that difficult to spot/understand?

I think you missed my point. 4 5 1 to me is well.... 4 defenders... 5 midfielders.... and a forward. :winkold:

  4. Hi General,

A good solid win for the lads yesterday. I thought Dunne took his goal like a striker and all 3 involved in Jimmy Milner's goal did brilliantly to react so quickly to the situation with their keeper being off his line!

I just wanted to let you know that the stewarding seemed a lot better down in the Lower North yesterday. It was less mob-handed than it has been lately and I think it created for a calmer atmosphere between the fans and stewards. I just hope common sense prevails when we play some of the bigger games that are on the horizon, especially the cup semi final.

Will you be over to savour the atmosphere of the semi-final General? This is one game you surely won't want to miss!

which section are you in? Because to me it was much more mob handed than usual!

  5. Hi general I came on to complain about a similar thing to binireduk. I'm in R4 lower north and at thefront one steward was literally picking on one man. Whenever stand up if you love the villa was sung most the miserable people at the front would sit but he was joining in, now no one told us off but this steward was literally shouting at this guy. He was sat behing the goal left side facing the stand. It was disgusting to watch.

Also are there any plans for metal queue bars like in the holte because the amount of queue pushing is ridiculous.

Many thanks for your time and I hope you are well!

  6. Ive got to be honest and say that since he joined villa i take no joy from watching us, he is the reason i wont renew next season. Whilst players like him are at the Villa we wont win anything, thats how martin operates.

I want to ask you a question. are you happy with 6th???

  7. One game, you idiot.

You sure you're a Villa fan?

hahaha. i was having a chat at halftime with some guys in the north lower. turned out to be two people on here (How do if your here). I said that some fans are a bit like Islamic fundamentalists on here. "if we keep going and cheering we will get our 14 virgins"

Im just looking at it with a brain! And this game is just a continuation of last seasons poor form.

  8. Steve you remember when me, you and Rob met down Villa Park for what we hoped would be a mass protest against Doug Ellis. We put the wreath on the gates of VP and you took a photo and sent it to the Evening Mail who printed it?

The club was on its knees then. Doug was chairman, O'Leary was about to leave and the squad consisted of piss poor players who had just struggled to finish 16th. The whole club could be summed up by looking at the Holte Pub which was derelict.

That was three short years ago mate. That day when me you and Rob stood on Trinity Road taking the picture of that wreath did you really dream that things three years later could have improved so much?

If you genuinely do feel as pessimistic as you say you are then I'd say don't bother going any more as if during a game things do go wrong on the pitch and the players are struggling then they will need the crowd behind them to lift them but your natural reaction, given how you feel now, will be to do the opposite and that, as you know, is not how a supporter should feel.

Of course i dont feel that bad. For that season i had boycotted VP until the last game to take that banner and put it up, a few weeks later we put it on those gates, just the three of us at VP when it was the time to get doug to his knees, most fans too engrained in the "If we go and support them it'll be alright" mist.

I'm not saying in this thread i'd give up on been a Villa fan, im saying is it worth me having a ST over watching games on the tele or by other means and then going to other games! I'm saying that Martin O'Neill hasn't done what he should have with the resources he has and pushed us on in this window! I'm saying that when we get to Jan/Feb and we have injuries, can we accept us throwing cups again because we have Hull on Saturday!

I'm saying i brought this ST knowing i'd miss some weekends away, have to rearrange trips becasue of schedule changes and knowing Heskey would probably still be there because i thought we'd sign some players to push on, we'd add numbers to the squad.

Thing is. We haven't have we?
