  1. What is plastic and sings? Polly Murrs

This morning, a French man said 'beaucoup' to me, which means a lot.

I saw a baby horse disguised using a wig and a false moustache earlier - it was a foal’s pretense.

A big tree fell on me once, it had some jokes scratched into the side that was facing away from me. It was difficult at the time, but looking back I can cedar funny side.

I suspect my wife has a new job vending the hard outer casing of crustaceans at the beach, though it's really hard to say.

I saw an ice cream dessert going through a bereavement earlier. It really looked like it was going through a tough time, so I think Lionel Ritchie was mistaken.

Maybe I'm being paranoid but there are 5 Peruvian owls sat on a fence looking in my window.....I think they're Inca hoots

I've lost the packaging for my anti-stress medication. I just don't know how much more I can take.

Some people say that a Giant Sequoia is better than a Bonsai, but that’s just bigotry.

  2. I met this guy from Italy who was really strict about his diet. His name was Only One Cannoli.

My wife suggested for sex we do something from a song. Her friend Eileen wasn't to happy about it.

In Canada, you are more likely to die of a moose kick than of a terrorist attack. Those damn mooselimbs.

I just downloaded the Bohemian Rhapsody movie. I think it was filmed in a cinema though, I see a little silhouetto of a man.

  3. Ahhh Monsieur Garde, the charlatan masquerading as a Premier League manager. Totally unsuited for the role and what was and is needed. Tactically all over the place with little idea of how and when to change things. It's not about strength of the bench, it's about the nous to see where things are not working and get the players to adapt. Some people still have faith in him, then again some had faith in Lambert, which just goes to show that typically once fans are wearing the Claret and Blue glasses (obstinate style for the 2016 season), they cannot see the man's shortcomings. There is a body of 'ladies' on Twitter who call themselves - Team Remi - its actually quite funny to see the pants dampening tweets they post on there, claiming that the FrenchMan is in some way a god and bereft of any scrutiny. We all know that Lerner, Fox and those that filled that position before are very culpable, but the reality around Garde is that he is awful, a terrible appointment for the what is needed at AVFC. For someone as old as myself who witnessed the abyss we are looking into before, the desire for another Graham Taylor is about all we have left to cling to.

So for Remi Garde as they say in France ' au revoir'

  4. Doubtless we are about to see multiple arrests at HSBC now we can see evidence they helped clients hide money and evade tax.

If it's wrong it's wrong. We quite rightly chase down and prosecute people that steal £20k of benefits pretending they can't walk or work.

Or give them a peerage ....

  5. I can't believe there are people on here that actually want to see us lose 12-0.

i can't believe some people think Lambert is a good manager but there you go. And for those defending the benteke dropping why not the same criteria re cleverly ?
He should be dropped too, as should Sanchez after last week.

But you can't drop everyone. If Sanchez was playing I bet Cleverley wouldn't be.

coeverly has been a week link for ages, Sanchez one bad game. Lambert has no consistency there. He has his favourites and pig head ness means that he will put that before the club imo. A terrible manager who has no right to be at the club. The sooner gone the better. We could scrape a win today and that would not excuse his woeful performance to date.

Who are his favourites, apart from apparently Cleverley?

Gabby, Benteke, Westwood, Sanchez, Cissokho and Weimann have all been dropped recently. Hutton was dropped for 2 years. Okore doesn't really count. Clark has been dropped plenty of times.

I don't think he's ever dropped Delph but he's arguably our best player.

So I suppose Delph and Cleverely are his favourites then? Pretty short list.

your desire to defend lambert is certainly strong today. So who said about the others being dropped? Oh you did.... Speak to people at the club and see if he has his favourites, but i suppose they are liars also?

I'm no fan of Lambert - quite the opposite, in fact - but given that nobody expected us to get anything out of this match and given that people have been calling from Benteke to be dropped given his recent poor performances I'm not sure that there was a better opportunity to do exactly that. Would people really rather Lambert drop Benteke against Hull?

i would rather Villa drop Lambert ......

  7. He gave Hutton a break from the first team and look what happened there he came back a better person and player. (Although I hope Benteke's break isn't for quite as long)

a break? He tried his hardest to run him out of the club !

Or he sent him away to find himself and looks like it actually worked. Of course Hutton himself must take some of the credit for that as well.

total scraping of the barrel to try and give Lambert any credit the way he treated hutton
