  1. Learned everything i needed to about the guy when he threw the armband to the floor whilst being hauled off the pitch, down 6-0 to Liverpool.

Uninspiring quitter and a lazy word removed.

  2. Jpp resigned to a 1 year deal and Janoris Jenkins signed from the Rams!  Good start to FA although we have missed out on Malik Jackson, but at $15m per that might be a good thing!

Charles Johnson also chose to resign with Carolina after visiting the Giants.  Turned down more money here, yay.

    FA opens officially later tonight.

  3. Beason has retired rather than being cut.  A good player but just injury plagued and managed to fleece the Giants of one last big contract whilst representing himself so the transition into the life of an agent should be a good move for him.

They are all decent players tbh, but just plagued by injuries.  All got big money and couldnt stay on the field thereafter.... so BYE!

Think we are $60m under the cap and i expect that might grow further with a Cruz restructure, which has to be coming otherwise he would have been shown the door now too.

Go get Malik Jackson and Danny Trevathan off the Broncos if they shake loose as first port of call to improve the defense and then look at a left tackle and a safety.  Few more serviceable additions and then hopefully another decent draft.  Past few drafts have been good and improved upon a few years of bad drafting, its just the resigning our own players and overpaying for shit and injured shit where Reese has been going wrong.

I find them quite dull. Short passing game isn't especially interesting to watch I don't think.

Cards are one of the best this season to watch, so I'll be supporting them the rest of the way.

Cards as i want Fitz to get a ring, but if New England were to win it would further enhance the legacy of Tom Coughlin and Eli Manning....blah blah blah you know what im saying! ;)

  5. Not against the move considering what was out there.  There is also no denying that the offense has improved a great deal the past two seasons.

I would say redzone struggles are down to the lack of a big receiver and also a woeful running game.

Improve RT, TE and a solid complimentary possession receiver on offense and we might be in a very strong position.  Offense already well inside top 10 or even top 5 in most passing categories.

Like Sullivan to OC, he has been good as QB coach and his year in Tampa as OC went well too.  McAddo to call plays for now, let's see.

Philbin as assistant HC and QBs is a decent appointment too.  Similar role in Green Bay with McCarthy when winning a SuperBowl.

I would have kept Coughlin based on what was available, but he vouched for McAdoo going out the door so ok let's get to it!

Biggest issue now is improving the defense for Spags as it was about as bad as I have seen last season.  See if Spags is still up to it also.
