NRC - WHU fans have given the lad stick and your find alot of nasty comments about him. Think is, NRC hasnt really said anything in public to upset the fans whereas Barton has spoken aloud about the fans, club and has also attack a fellow team mate.

I think NRC would be excellent with a club on the up and one with has a positive environment. Barton is a nasty piece of work and I dont want him at our club

not keen on Joey Barton - again, some can say that he is also a one season wonder + trouble

problem i have with NRC is his age. Villa already has a team full of young players and I would like to see some more experienced players in there. Just look at arsenal - too many young players who will drop their heads when things aint happening.

Agents are dodgy and will try and play clubs agaisnt each other. If MON put in a offer for NRC then i could see his agent quietly giving Spurs and Newcastle a nudge to see if he can get any more offers.

Matty taylor - would be nice to have someone within the team who isnt fightened at shooting from distance... but thats all I know about him. Not sure how good he is at passing, defending etc

MacCann would be one of the better players within the Wigan side - that says it all. This is Wigans last season in the prem!

Hopefully we can get £2mil for MacCann and £1Mil for hughes - thats some more coupons towards a new striker

Bring in someone like Taylor would can cover the left wing and LB positions. sounds good to me

Bouma has been excellent this season... and he is improving with every game. This position is Bouma's next season

Scott Parker some a similar sort of player would be my choice for midfield. Professional, tough and gets the job done.... basically a better MacCann. Now i've mentioned Macca, I think he will go to Sunderland or someone similar. His future at VP is dim. MacCann has been decent for villa over the years. Unfortunately for him, his performances have been poor and even with a 'good' MacCann he would have been replaced in the summer with someone BETTER.

Bellamy... just not keen on him at all . We currently have Carew, Moore and Gabby and we are relying on these to bang in over 15 goals each - which i'm not sure about... its a pretty big gamble to take. Bringing in Bellamy will just ask even more question on whether our strike force can score enough goals. I'd been happiler with someone like Bent who has scored (without checking the stats) more than any of our strikers and bellamy last season WHILST playing for a relegated club

Looking at the stats... i'd take Bent - imagine how many he'd score if he played for a better team

Owen is world class. He has had his problems over the last 2 years with injuries but he seems to be over them now

Its about time players looked at where the toons have finished in the league before looking at the massive pay packet being offered.

Dunno why the barcaodes are being talked about as suchh a better lure than us.

1. Fat Sam or Martin O'Neill

There is only one stat that they can say makes them currently bigger than us and that is their 52000 crowd as opposed to our max of 42500, but that will be put right in the next couple of years when our magnificent new north stand is built.

IMO!!!!!

1) he seems to be a cockney lad and will want to say in london... so first option is Spurs

2) If not Spurs, then I think the toons will be his second option

3) I've not done my research but, how many players have been lured away from Central London to the midlands?
