  1. played a huge part in us getting 4 points from last 3 prem games....could be the difference at the end of the season. seems to be getting more and more confident and will win us more points this season if given minutes

  2. The queing was insane last thursday, i had to do a detour around the ground as the police were blocking the gate next to the north stand near the away end, i'd never seen anything like it tbh, crowds snaking all the way past the mcgregor statue and all the way down the road.... it seems to always be on european nights that we have these ques, was the same for Hibs early in the season and then they seemed to dissapate for the zrinski game but i think for legia and this one they were back again. Hopefully the club can come up with something to remedy it as it delays people getting into the ground, we dont want to become like the hammers and have excessive delays at point of entry on match day!

  3. I was at the game today and what stood out to me today, especially in the first half, was how uninvolved Watkins was when shunted out to the wing….much better in second half with the substitutes but the hammers were quite poor today and we really should have moved the ball forward quicker to take advantage of them which we didn’t do enough of. We also really need to improve our corners because there were plenty of opportunities to score from set pieces too.

having seen that in person I’m a bit disappointed that we couldn’t score another tbh. Would have been amazing to go 5 ahead of spurs again but we go again against wolves UTV

  4. Vill used to run the AV1 bus service from Nuneaton station on matchday to Villa park, they got rid of it though….was quite busy on the day too. Don’t think it would work out that well round here now tho, most people either drive or get the train if they want a drink and that bus had a no booze policy. People have moved on now

  5. It’s going to be a really good matchup and has the feeling about it that it could go either way on the day. Bowen and kudus for them v Bailey and (hopefully) Watkins for us. Both teams pretty good in attack but been pish recently in defence….im going for us to edge it as the away team, a Leon Bailey masterclass to take the 3 points back

  6. This game did get down to ST holders. I was waiting like a hawk at work at 16:58 and managed to grab one at 5 on the dot. If you don’t manage to grab one when they go on sale go ST holders then it’s wel worth visiting the site to check for resale tickets. As long as they have reached your criteria before selling out then you have a good chance of nabbing a resale if you check frequently, especially if there is a couple of weeks until the game.

  7. You can see the spurs thing happening in our fanbase too, at Chelsea away in the cup underneath me there was a guy from the far east recording the whole game, not one minute did he put the phone away! so I think as a fanbase it is something we have to bear in mind, particularly those of us with ST’s regarding price increases….

if you give that seat up I’m not 100% convinced it will end up going to someone on the waiting list, my dads old seat that he gave up is now a general sale seat which obviously goes for a lot more per game than the ST average cost

Someone with a ST and required away criteria obviously also sold the person that individual ticket for the Chelsea match too…so I think these fans from overseas can afford to spend a few hundred on merchandise, a few hundred on travel and a ticket etc which your local midlands fan won’t do

  8. Will renew, I’m expecting another 15% increase and not going to expect much of an improvement in facilities in the north stand upper. At this point it’s just something I pay for using the finance option and am lucky to be able to eat the price increase but I do hope that there is some benevolence/recognition from the club that it’s a difficult time atm and many people will have to pay higher mortgage/rent costs etc….expecting my seat to breach the £700 mark, which seems crazy given that it’s only a few years and doubled in price now
