It wouldn't surprise me if we managed to get some good players this window - players who aren't playing regularly and need to before the euros. 

Whether it it be a loan, or a permanent with a release clause, we can offer regular playing time and no long term risk! 

Debauchy and remy on loans would be a great start - we'd have to send illori back though!

Those 5 players shouldn't cost a fortune as remy would be a loan, Madanda, Byram and Austin are all coming off contract at the end of the year and toulanan is obviously older. 

If remy is a no go then Naismith could be a good alternative

Look to buy a keeper, striker and box to box midfielder in January as well as bringing Cissokho back. 

Austin as striker, no idea for keeper or centre mid but we need Prem experience for the midfielder.

It would be nice to bring in a new striker but I think that team and bench would do very well!

I think we've spent too much on Ayew when that money should have gone on somebody who could hit the ground running.

We need someone with Prem experience, other than Austin or Adebayor who else is there?

We'll sign Lescott and loan Baker out for the year. Lescott becomes our second choice left back and first change centre half. Will get plenty of game time if Clark is out of form, if Richards ever needs to go to right back or if we ever play 3 at the back. Baker gets a full season under his belt which is much needed.

And he's a villa fan! Win win for me!

Call me crazy but I think Sherwood could get the best out of Balotelli on loan!

Gana & Amavi will be class this year - enjoy them while we can. Hopefully Traore will fit into this category too.

Richards, Gestede and Sinclair know the English game and will be good for us.

Veretout & Ayew will take the season to settle by the looks of things - don't expect too much.

Bunn and Crespo were bought as back up and I'm sure they'll be fine for this purpose.

Overall I think we need a new striker, and either a centre mid or centre back depending on what formation Sherwood plans on playing the most. For what's it's worth I think we'd suit a 4-2-3-1 best.

Best player on the pitch for the first 30 minutes yesterday. When he's up to the speed of the Prem and full fitness he'll be excellent.

Dare I say it, he Reminds me of Essien.

We need a main striker to challenge Gestede. Embolo?

We also need a central midfielder of Sherwood persists with 3 in the middle, preferably a creative one. Praet?

He needs time to settle and will be benched when Grealish and Gil are back.

I was surprised at the time that we spent so much on him. I think we'll regret not spending 2m extra and getting Rondon.
