It wouldn't be a free though, wouldn't he have a few years left on his contract at luton?
Got a year left. I presume this is happening due to a relegation clause.

Very questionable bringing him back but tbf Emery did wonders for Tielemans.
You'd think one year deal heavily incentive based if so, because lads like Ross always seem to turn on when they have to fight for a new deal and then when they get a bit of stability it's gone.
Otherwise known as doing a Lee Hendrie.

Last time with us he looked like a world beater for a few months, but by the halfway mark of the season he was back being an utter waste of space again. I would seriously not trust a few good months at Luton as any indication that he has suddenly become a reliable player - the last 7 or 8 years of evidence shows he has spent most of his career being a total waste of time and money, apart from a few isolated periods. This would be a really disappointing signing if it goes through.
He got injured as he was really hitting form, then was never the same player after. After seeing what the Don has done with players I trust him to get Barkley firing.

Klopp "everybody is overspending, we didn't"
Also Klopp...
Broke the world record transfer fee for a goalkeeper
Broker the world record transfer fee for a defender
Made a world record transfer offer for a midfielder
Spent £90m on a striker

By all accounts the and Tony Bloom have fallen out over the summer transfer budget.

Well as a graphic designer maybe you should be aware that most of the western world is reliving the 90's including fashion, music and culture so not that crazy that the badge has some throw back elements to it.
It looks fine. Its not horrible enough to worry about and not amazing enough to salivate over.
Sarcastic sod. I am aware. I'm also aware that such trends are short-lived and you cannot create a crest based on a short lived fads.

An interesting expert perspective, thank you for that. I thought I was going mad, here, given how many seem to think its a winner.
I'm surprised they didn't have gradiants and embossing and putter glows on the logo

When you design a logo it simply has to work black on white and then you inject colour. As a logo it's fine, but lazy. They used that Xia lion, and added that sodding drop shadow. The lion should have Ben the one rejected that was on the lamp crest design which is the current seasons but with more detailing. It's great. Flip that and make the yellow darker and to replicate a more gold and it will be decent and work fine.
But why change from this seasons!? It's a badge the team wore that got champions league. How more ironic can you get moving into the 150th anniversary!?

Drop Shadow FC.
Fk me that's embarrassing. I'm a graphic designer with over 30 years with a specialising in branding and I simply would never put my name to a logo with predominant early 90's drop shadow on a logo.
It's amateur.

Manager of the season isnt awarded on one game
How to post that you totally missed my point without actually stating that you've totally missed my point.

Well that's given Pep manager of the season. Think had we kept it respectful Unai would be in with a shout but it's Pep's now with 4 on the trot.
Still, what an effing season!?

Unless its against us his decisiveness in the final third has made me realise he is not a high level player in all honesty
Wait til the Don has coached him. His final third ball will be banging.

Having the choice of Gallagher and McGinn would be handy...
So would playing them together at times. Double the workhorse.

I get the wages, but for the life of me cannot see why people are falling over themselves to sell Digne
I agree. His best season possibly of his career. On the whole he's been outstanding and definitely my unsung hero of the season. The amount of games he's had to play due to lack of options that side and his consistency. If he's willing to take a bit of a pay cut aid definitely offer him a new deal.

RE: Barkley. He was very good when he first joined us until he got his injury and just was never the same player. You could see he was playing unfit and how frustrated he was. A fit Barkley is a good option, adds experience.
A few doubted Youri, saying he was finished at top level and looks what Emery did with him
If the Don wants him here, I want him here.

Seems like he’s ruled out of the final game through injury. Full credit to this guy for basically playing with an injury and pain against LiverpoolHave a good summer Youri, you’ve made a very good impression in your first session with us.
Yeah, no point risking him now the game is a dead rubber.

Apparently not. He and Tony Bloom have had a massive fallout over transfer policy this summer and has been not giving a shit since.
