I was surprised to see that Austria Wien played some really attractive football in the Highlight-videos.
Hosiner's movement is impressive, so is his decision making under pressure. Would be nice but... we'll see...

Let Helenius Gabby & Andi fight it out for the central position.. allowing extra game time for Zog & Albrighton as wide strikers along with Tonev, theyve both shown they know how to finish as well as be excellent wingers on their day

Ï think Albrighton has already proved that his skill level is below Premier League standard... we have given him enough chances! And isn't N'Zogbia injured badly?

How do you follow your team in these matches, are there a live stream or is it "only" by live commentary on the web page or facebook/twitter?   I look forward to see how Lambert is going to use Helenius, i guess he will have a half or two in some of the matches.

Been a Villa supporter for 20 years now   

As my mother is from Birmingham, my grandparents (grandfather is a huge villa supporter) used to come down to Switzerland a few times a year when I was a baby.
Granddad must have influenced me by bringing me scarves and kits for christmas. One of the first things I ever said was "Up the Villa!" 

I always went to Villa Park to watch the boxing day matches when my family flew over for Christmas so I have quite a few happy memories.

Since then I have watched every match possible, fighting my way through hours and hours of adverts on streaming-sites...but it's been worth it!

 
 

 

I think he's sufficiently proven himself to be backed with whatever he needs tbh. The fees won't be the issue, it'll be player age, wages and potential sell on that'll be going under the microscope for pretty much every transfer we're looking at - everything we didn't pay attention to previously

Why?

We paid a ridiculous amount of money for him. We should do what we can to get a good price for him. Why is it better to accept a small bid just to get rid quickly?

 

 

I'm not saying sell him for 4 .. But if that's the most .. Then I'd go with it ..

 

Not many teams would pay these wages for him .. not even us if we weren't threatened by relegation that winter !

 

I'm afraid that we might find a diffeculty in selling him ! Which everybody thinks its easy ..

Taarabt, Myhill and Hennessey, still out celebrating Villa's survival, Taarabt is just another Ireland, arrogant and can't be arsed and if Guzan is out injured would you honestly want either of Myhill and Hennessey in between the sticks, I certainly wouldn't.

I kind of like Taraabt. He's Confident on the ball, has a great first touch and outstanding ball control. Only problems are his workrate (which would certainly improve whilst training alongside Gabby, Delph, Weimann and Sylla) and his ambition to nutmeg all of the opposition (Zoggy syndrome with more skills)...

Not my Nr.1 target but I wouldn't say no at a reasonable price!

I share Keyblades opinion! If you actually have the chance to go to a match then scream your heart out for 90 minutes a week and help the lads!
