I’d take Van De Van. Him and Pau would be a dangerous duo.
Very good player.

They look the better team for me. Our passing has been poor and without Kamara we are hitting it long which is noticeably different to our usual set up. Bailey and Youri pretty poor. Very cagey game. Subs will be key you feel.

They look physically stronger than us and technically better . Not giving us anytime or space on the ball. Our back line looks jittery against their movement.
We are second best here.

Cash at RM . He was awful there against Spurs in the first game.

I disagree with this. Surely it’s a bigger game for them than us? Lose, and there is a sizeable gap between us and them and they’ll be looking over their shoulders at Utd. Win, and they’re back in the race for 4th with us.
It’s a bigger game for them, hence why I’d take a draw.
Just the pressure of us being in 4th and having a genuine chance for the first time. Potentially anxious home support. Every chance we manage it though and put in a great performance!

Pressure is more on us than them. Concerned about this one.

Nervous for this one! Can’t believe it’s 1pm on Mother’s Day. A win in this would be incredible. I’d like to think we come out firing and absolutely on it, but dear Spurs will too. Their attacking threat, with pace, is a real concern against the way we set up. As ever, I have a feeling McGinn will be the decider here. If he is at his best we will win.

Does after tomorrow and Saturday mean he’s out for tomorrow?
That’s how I read it too. However, we play West Ham next Sunday so who knows!

Arsenal have Man city, spurs and utd all to play away
Sat here right now I'd happily guess they lose all 3 of those games, the game vs city last year was huge and city brushed them aside like a mere inconvenience rather than a title challenge, expect the same this year
We are going to have a massive say in this title race with Arsenal, Man City and Liverpool all to play.

England brilliant tonight!

They are the biggest bunch of words removed around.

He has looked very sloppy - poor control and passes. Needs a big game on Sunday (we do from all of them)

If it was the Diaby from the start of the seaon I would agree, but let's be honest, he's been pretty woeful for a long time now (assist v Luton aside).
I think there's definitely more of an argument for not starting him and Rogers would give us a more 'solid' look.
Having said that, I hope that they are both (good) options off the bench and Ramsey is 100% raring to go.
I agree. He has looked poor, but I’m really not sure Rogers is ready to start this one.

I just started watching Shogun, after reading the book a number of times and liking it. Only seen the one episode as yet and it looks so far like a superb adaptation. Can't wait to get onto the rest of it.
Also I hope they do a similar updated remake of another Clavell novel, Tai Pan, which I also really enjoyed. I know there is a 70's/80's version of it, but after seeing a bit of it, I was not impressed.
Tai Pan is one of my favourites along with Noble House especially having lived in Hong Kong.

I think (if fit) we will start with Konsa and Moreno at full back with Pau and Lenglet at centre back. I think UE likes the three centre backs when we are in possession. Also I think the three centre back give us a bit more height to deal with set pieces (although none are especially dominant in the air).
I can’t see JJ being ready to start so the rest of the team is a little more straightforward.
Emi
Konsa Lenglet Pau Moreno
Luiz McGinn Tielemans
Bailey Watkins Rodgers
I don’t see UE playing both Bailey and Diaby so for me it’s either Rodgers or Zaniolo to replace JJ.
We have a pretty solid bench with Cash, Digne, Carlos, Tim, Diaby, Zaniolo to come on.
He should start Diaby over Rogers for me.

The second yellow was one of the worst decisions I’ve seen. However, Konsa was bloody stupid for the first booking. Not sure he was fouled and to grab the ball like he did is asking for trouble.
-
Really tough game. Hope we are right on it unlike yesterday. Think I’d go:
Emi
Cash Konsa Pau Digne
Bailey Luiz McGinn Tielemans
Diaby Watkins
Thisnisnt the game for Rogers or Tim. If Ramsey is fit he starts instead of Diaby.

Is Zaniolo also suspended for the return leg now? He looked quite good I thought.

I thought we were very poor tonight. The ref an absolute disgrace. Hopefully Pau going off at half time was always the plan! Bit of rotation to keep us fresh for Sunday.
-
Worst ref I’ve ever seen. We have been absolutely awful tonight though. A truly shocking performance.
-
Terrible across the whole pitch.
-
The errors in this is mad. We have been awful.

Bottled it big time. Spurs look so much better than us. I really couldn’t understand why people saying we were the better team the first half. We’ve been dominated.
