  1. Don't worry, it's all about fitness, nothing else.
It's not about preparation for the new season, creating a style of play, trying new things and getting players to gel.

It about putting the miles in.

They may as well have run up and down the **** Malvern Hills for all the benefit playing football does them.

  2. Yes, and the Apple logo would be better if it didn't have a bite out of it.

FFS!! Do people just complain for the sake of it.

the UNIBET lettering is offset because it's their brand, their logo.

i am sure their company knew what they were doing when the designed their logo, bit I am sure they would be happy to change it to be perfectly straight.

I think the sheer inertia of this pending signing will shake the whole football club......and everyone outside of B6 will have a different view of us.

from Bookmakers to opposing players......It will have an effect.

I think a great many of them will be laughing at us.

I'm not sure I get your point.

When I say it was a PR visit I mean she went to be seen to be there for the camera's and the news. For her PR.

Obviously not to meet the people affected, she doesn't care about them. They are the little people, they don't pay enough tax to matter.

    I wasn't having a pop at you.

I showed it as 'visit' as it wasn't really a visit to the scene of the disaster and to show her compassion and solidarity with the community.

That's what she said. And to a lot of people that's what they think they want without realising the ramifications.

And these people were allowed to vote and influence the result !!!!

    BOMB-SITE.jpg

    Thats it, apparently.

My family is from Aston/Nechells, my nan actually lived in a house that was bombed during the raids on Birmingham. There'll be quite a few bombs around that part of Brum, it got hammered more than a few times.

Thank for this, really appreciate it.

The suspect bomb site (now grassed) is directly underneath what was the tarmac'd footpball pitch.

Its a wonder it wasn't discovered or unearthed when they laid that pitch in the mid 70's, although I doubt they would have dug down very far.

  7. There was a line of terraced houses that ran the length of one side of Priory Road.

On the opposite side was factory units up to half way along and a large play area further (tarmac football pitch - bloody brilliant with my Wembley trophy football) further along along.

We left 40 years ago when I was about 11, so I guess its seen some changes since then.

  8. Considering the amount of coverage this story has been given, I find it strange that there has been explanation as to how the 'virus' is spread, in what format, and what people should do to stop their computers becoming infected.

most people know not to open dodgy emails or attachements, but it's plainly clear that many do not.

  9. We are a million miles away from ANYTHING resembling a team that will compete and challenge for the top positions next year.

slow, lethargic, turgid football does not suit this division, but that's what we play, it's what the manager wants.

it's time  to cut our losses, thank him for steadying this ship but now look for somoeone progressive, who can move us forward.

  10. Lets hope the Republican Representatives who are against it, have the courage of their convictions if they are forced to vote on Trumpcare today.

For a massive piece of legislation to fail before it has even started would be a gigantic kick in his orange balls.
