Always used to get relegated on 13 too.

I'm struggling with it myself, just can not seem to get into it and keep switching 13 back on.

Would be a good move for him to regain his form. He just doesn't fit into our system at present to be given a run of games for us.

I find it impossible to win anything with Villa tend to favour my favourite players at the club or stay loyal to the current crop of players.

I tend to have the same problem so try to start in the lower leagues.

Starting to look like we have regressed in our style of play from last season. We don't press teams or even try to play out from the back anymore. Poor.

Surely the most absurd thing about this situation is not what Wilshere said. But the fact that The FA and certain parts of the press, are talking about a call up for a kid with just a few minutes under his belt that won't even be illegible til 2018. Has he even indicated he may want to take British citizenship when possible?

I'd go with that maybe bar Sylla as it is to early to lump him in with them yet. 

Nothing wrong with struggling in their 2nd season just depends if they face upto the chellenge or hide from it. 

Classic MOTD - absolutely no analysis for the game today, so Delph gets no mention in the presence of Woy. 

TBF their was not an awful lot to anaylze in that game was poor by both teams. Think it is a bit early to be banging the England drum for Delph just yet.

Used to really enjoy reading these 'bollitic' threads but they've all degenerated into playground tittle-tattle and name calling recently.

Most disappointing aspect of our play last night was that their seemed to be little effort put in to actually disrupt Spurs play. We just sat off them and allowed them to take control. I don't think we won a 50/50 all night.

Albrighton the only player to come away with any credit for me.

I'd agree with that Villanrule, this years build up just feels very lacklustre. Think I'll just stick with my FM13 save for a while, although the demo could change that.

Not really. Benteke is our only consistent scorer/creator. Agbonlahor has good patches and Weimann is struggling a bit. So we need the midfielders to chip in a bit too. No one is expecting one of them to score 10+ but half a dozen would be nice.

I don't think it matters who we play at full back. With the formation we play, in games are backs are not against the wall and the likes of Gabby and Weimann are sitting back they are are always going to be isolated and look poor.

Villa Park is not in Fifa 14. Yet Goodison park is!

To be fair they probably deserve it more, after the stadiums already in they have been one of the better teams in the league. When we are back in top half/challenging for Europe we will probably get in.

I think I read somewhere that this was filmed in Manchester. As rjw63 has said it does seem like nothing has changed in Small Heath since then they were also in Division 2 back in 1919 as they are now. That art gallery is nowhere in Birmingham and they could have popped down for 30 minutes to film the shot in the city centre. I think there are some good attempts at Brummie accents and some dire ones but the show looks a good one.   

Liverpool, Leeds and the Black Country museum were all used for filming. Not sure if Manchester was.

All in all I thought it was a solid first episode, looking forward to next week.
