Petty crimes are somewhat forgivable and doesn’t always look bad on a club. However what Greenwood did (convicted or not) is really not good PR for anyone.  Well it should be, but seems like no one cares.

Luke McCormick, convicted of two counts of death by dangerous driving in 2008, released in 2012 and re-signed by Plymouth in 2013. Was made club captain in 2014.

And there are countless more examples.

Unfortunately, as much as us football fans hold our clubs in the highest esteem and hope that they would hold the highest moral standards, it's clear that they don't, be it in the UK or abroad.

I can’t believe that there’s any team in world football still want Mason Greenwood. But alas, he’s being linked to so many European clubs.

Disappointing they’re looking the other way

I think its utterly horrific that so many clubs are interested in Greenwood.

But since when do football clubs sign players based on morals and doing the right thing? There are countless examples of players being convicted of crimes and still being signed to clubs.

  3. So Barcelona's idea of kicking the can down the road and a combination of selling and mortgaging off every revenue stream they had in the hope that it would all sort itself appears to have come back to bite them in the arse. Who would have thought that would happen?

In the meantime, they appear to be on the verge of sacking Xavi for mentioning the above financial problems. This is after announcing he was leaving earlier in the season, then announcing he was staying for at least one more season.

Obviously they won't go to the wall as the political ramifications would be massive, but I really really really hope they do. Despicable club

  4. Looks like rain forecast for Imola on Sunday. In years gone by I would have been excited by that, but the current state of F1 means they'll throw a red flag as soon as the first few spots drop onto the track.

  5. Warnock got the month wrong about being banished to the reserves, but it did happen. Got battered 4-0 by City in December 2010 and didn't play again nor was he on the bench for the rest of the season.

  6. As much as they have improved since the turn of the year, their defence is shocking and their best defender is leaving on a free in the summer.

26 games in all comps, 6 clean sheets.

  7. Price Of Football is great. Used to listen to the Football Ramble preview and review shows but went off it when they added people and started to muck around with who they had on. But as Steve said they've recently tried to have more of the old crew back on the preview and review shows I may try and give it a go again.

Stick to football has it's moments where it's good, but it depends on who they have on as a guest. Keane and Wright are very good on it.

I've found myself listening to a lot of Under The Cosh recently, mainly due to the ex-players (Warnock/Collins) and ex-managers (Sherwood/Lambert) and No Tippy Tippy Football with Sam Allardyce.

It would be funny if the victim here reports him to the local police and John Fury gets locked up in a Saudi jail.

It's a shame that the 'normal' laws don't seem to apply in Saudi when the big international events, (boxing, F1, WWE etc) are being staged.

John Fury is arguably the biggest c*** in boxing. Up there with the likes of Conor Benn, Ryan Garcia, Jarrel Miller, Gervonta Davis and even his own son.

Edit: Forgot to add Josh Taylor to my list of the biggest c**** in boxing.

  9. Guardian reporting that this summer will be Jimmy's last.

Great great career, but something seems to have gone over the past 18 months. Shame he didn't bow out with Broad last summer.
