  1. I'm sure the likes of Marseille, Fiorentina, Middlesbrough etc were all so disappointed when they were reading the Villa fans didn't rate Veretout, Amavi, Traore etc.

Let's give lads a chance eh. This absolute, black and white thing that if players didn't do good here they can't possibly do good there, and that they must be 'in decline'. It's like some haven't watched any football like........ever.

  2. Not that I take what Sky said as worth anything, but in the article about the Traore fee being agreed. They mention again about the Martinez fee being 'paid in a way that allows them funds for Traore', whereas before it was the exact same sentence except for Rashica instead of Traore. They seem to think it's instead of.

As I said though, they don't have much of a clue.

  3. Fourth Official isn't an ITK account. It used to try to be years ago when it was posting stories that had just broke as their own. Then they changed their tune and did the 'I'm just reposting news from other sites, I never claimed to be ITK' when thats what they were clearly pretending to be with the way they were posting. Guy is an Everton fan and beyond their stuff he isn't any sort if ITK.

That would mean we have another CB nailed on to sign. Yet again not the first position most of us were looking to strengthen, but a senior partner for Mings to take some pressure off Konsa would be a good addition.

That account posted that the day of the Luiz going back to City rumours, it was piggybacking off of speculation. It's not the original guy at all, it's a fake. Check the Summer 2019 thread when he was posting when the Maupay to us rumours were strong, nothing happened. The original guy got it 100% right from the medicals. This account is fake.

He knows sweet nothing. I haven't seen him being right about anything since the Blackburn era.

Ya, not so much about PL clubs for sure but he does definitely have links and get stuff right about Championship teams.

Nce to see Celtic knocked out of the CL.  Only as much as it might change the Edouard situation.

No offence to our Irish lads...

I think you'd be surprised how many of us Irish don't support Celtic :P Hope to snatch Edouard from them certainly.

Because ‘he doesn’t want to move’ isn’t the same as ‘he won’t be moving‘. As I’ve said in the summer transfer thread, there’s a hundred different reasons why a player might end up moving clubs.

But even knowing 'he doesn't want to move' is incredibly non specific story wise. He has lots of 'friends' and people around the club who probably know this already. There's no need for the 'I'll get in trouble' dramatics imo.

  10. Grealish should have been called up by now but I don't think there's any great conspiracy about it or any bizarre 'Southgate is bitter about Villa' stuff. There's been quite a few 'young English' players this season, Mount, Maddison, Oxlaide-Chamberlain, Winks, Hudson-Odi who were all playing for bigger clubs. Now you can definitely argue he should have been called up ahead or along with a few of them but it's just been a decision really, nothing more. Not everything in football is a conspriacy theory or some grudge that fans thrive on to speculate wildly.

    Yes it is. He’s back

It's not him. He pretends that he is but it's not. The original guy also knew mostly incomings because of the medicals, he didn't speculate otherwise. He never claimed many outgoings. His way of posting is different too.

Remember this account from the summer? Know their shit

It's not the real AVtransfers. The original one shut down cos they were close to being found out I think. This one is a fake that popped up. They post everything AFTER news comes out. Drinkwater signing came out, he posted about a medical. Same with Samatta, news came out and he posted about a medical. The old account used to post about medicals, with a different way of typing too, before any link was very close.

  13. Not agreeing with this 'simply must win' stuff at all. There are times in the season when that applies but not yet or close imo. It's not 'excuses' either. All games are tough but if you win 2 games or even win and a draw in that bottom half you move up a few places. Of course we have to improve and be better, it was always going to be a tough season.

I don't get why some do this whole 'My opinion is more correct than yours' stuff with all this 'won't admit' and 'excuses' stuff. These kind of things are absolute poison on a discussion forum.

  14. I'm surprised some are saying it's ok to overlook his really poor passing because he wins the ball back sometimes. The passes weren't even hard passes, he tends to hit the ball too soft sometimes and it doesn't reach the target. Was as much at fault yesterday for the domination Wolves had. In other games too he has won the ball only to give it right back. Would have been a real eye opener for him against good midfielders, so hopefully he can knock that part out of his game.
