An in-form Ron has definitely helped keep all these clean sheets. 

Could be interesting to see Matty used as a winger. Has he played as one before? 

I think we could probably do with some more strikers. Another 3 should do it.

They both jump up, head the ball (imaginary ball for leel weiman), land at the same time and sprint off at the same time - proper weird!

For me I hope he goes for 35m+ 

and we invest most of that on another striker, an Attacking midfielder and a defensive midfielder. Just under 10m on each (fat chance) 

If its between us and Spurs - we've got no chance. Weren't we linked with Chadli before he signed for Spurs? 

Haven't heard of him before though. 

 

Bent very poor for Fulham the other night from watching. Despite Fulham trouncing Palace. 

Is this judgement based on being at the match or just seeing the highlights? I think it's a bit rash to judge a players' performance just on highlights. Also it would be interesting to know which aspects of his play proved him to be "very poor". It would be quite an achievement for any Fulham player to have registered as playing poorly against the shambles that was Palace. Was the vicious shot that Speroni just about managed to tip around the post an example of his very poor play?

 

I watched the match from minute 1 till the end. He was poor and was rightfully substituted. I'm not dissing Darren or hating on him. I am just stating the facts. He was silent in a game that he should not have been silent in. Even the commentators were saying how little he had touched the ball in the first 40 minutes. It was like Fulham were playing with 10 men. His "very poor play" as i mentioned was his inability to have any influence on the game, despite Fulham trouncing the opponents. 

Watching his Shoot Q&A on AVTV - his english has dramatically improved. I do like him a lot, he seems like a nice chap. I won't be mad at him when he leaves.

We've clearly improved.

We're getting better results and our defence looks much better.

The annoying thing for me though is that we seem to have stopped trying to play football like we did the first few games of the season.

I'd hope to see that side continue to improve because while results have picked up I worry that we'll start to look a lot more like last season if we continue to play the way we have.

I think we deserved the 3 points against Norwich and City but I also think we were slightly fortunate. We gave up a lot of possession to Norwich and more often than not a better team will punish us with that amount of the ball. And against city we defended well and relied on a couple of individual moments which we know aren't always going to go for us in every game.

I think the lack of a certain Belgian International is the reason for this (in bold) and thank god he's back now. 

Was that from slipping after he did a jump? 

I love his Spanish esq runs forward but he can be suspect at the back.

The Ball was always above him. He's always going to be slightly rusty after having a whole month out of competitive football. 

Needs to stop being so **** stubborn and change the formation and personal, we looked dangerous soon as CB came on, so I haven't got a clue why he decided to start Kozak instead. 

how do we know Benteke wasn't fully fit? 

He could have had a slight twang and Lambert felt that 30 minutes was all he could handle. 

Completely denies ever being on twitter, and says he has now plans to join it.

However, he also says he doesn't want to go on it because he prefers a private life, which unfortunately contradicts the Keek account he has. 

The short-sightedness is astounding at times.
