Its obvious who was at fault and probably why MON walked and to be honest i can hardly blame him.

I think it is obvious that the next two games will make or break our season.

Fulham at home. Never a walk over and they come to Villa Park on a three game winning streak and a new striker in form (Pogrebnyak) who has scored 5 in 3.

Personally, I think it will be another draw against Fulham and we will beat Bolton, they are simply awful, at home putting daylight between ourselves and the relegation mix.

If this turns out to be the case then it is mixed emotions. I want McLeish out, but he always seems to pull a result out of the bag to justify his crap tactics i.e. Chelsea and Wolves away. On the other hand I want Villa to win games and it would put my mind at ease that we were almost certain to stay up.

Following Fulham/Bolton the next 5-6 fixtures are horrendous. I do believe that 4-6 points from the next two games are the minimum, two draws will still leave us teetering on the edge and if the unthinkable happens, we lose both games, we will be in big trouble.

Randy has just paid for McLeish and the backroom staff to travel to America to go and meet their Cleveland Browns counterparts. Its just not the actions of someone who is set to give the manager the sack. There is also the issue that if we do sack him, who would want the job? The transfer window is shut so a new manager would be stuck with the current bunch. That is why Wolves appointed the number 2 to take charge.

If anything its the complete opposite which sums AMC and Lerner up. Its actually funny when you think about how stupid and amateur that move was.

To be honest I'd rather if we get rid of McLeish we went for someone else than Boas. He's had arguably one good season in a very short managerial career having inherited a very good Porto side. He's shown at Chelsea when something needs turning around in difficult circumstances he's not exactly excelled and has done a comparatively as poor a job as McLeish at Villa. He's essentially a clever bloke that loves writing and talking tactics but he really hasnt covered himself in glory. We are frustrated with McLeishs decisions well the Chelsea fans have been just as frustrated with his.

One good season where he won everything available to him?

The Chelsea job is a poisoned chalice, moving on players who are on the downslope of their careers but still think they are world class and rebuilding for the next generaation. All under the eyes of the worlds most impatient chairman.

I would love AVB here and it somes up the Villa fans that some are saying he wouldnt be welcome here.

For me its because villa are a very very poor footballing side and generally are relegation fodder.

And the fact Mcleish is a crap manager tbh I don't think Mourinho could do much better !

For me AMC is mostly to blame but you also should take into consideration the disruption caused by certain individuals.

For the football shown and the results Villa are defo a bottom 5 club at the moment as the football is that bad.

AMC should look in the mirror and think well most clubs i manage end up shite so im obviously mostly to blame.

AMC is mainly here for the money im sure of that as he knew he would be hated from the start and its only got worse as its done at other clubs for him.

Usually I would completely agree with you but Blackburn we're so ungodly awful I'd say the game was ours to win and then ours to lose today.

I give Mcleish full credit for the way we came out in the first half which makes his subsequent decision making all the more frustrating.

I guess it looks bad either way I suppose, either Mcleish has surrendered two points by shackling his team or he has had no answer to being outfoxed tactically by Steve Kean in the second half.

If you know anything about football you will know MCleish scores one then settles to defend the match out to see if he can keep it at 1 - 0.
