How do you know it's utter ******** ?

A kid who's not starting (also rumoured to be unhappy), with huge potential, wanted by a club with striker problems? I can see it being true.

let me rephrase, 90+% of these so called in the knows, know actually nothing and just make up or regurgitate other made up crap.

  2. From what I saw last night.

    Pros:

    • Strong, some of the Chelsea players bounced off him and he held them off very well, he will only improve in this area as he matures
    • Miles ahead of a lot of his team mates in terms of reading the game, wanted the ball played early
    • Was vocal - showed leadership
    • Always wanted the ball, never hid
    • Cleary got technique and an eye for goal

    Cons:

    • A touch slow but then the championship is compared to the premier league
    • Lack of tracking back, he ambled around a bit and didn't put enough work rate in to help out in defence, which Watkins is a master of. can be coached

Think he would be a great addition and being only 21 has years of development ahead of him, what's not to like, very low risk signing

Interesting to see if he features tomorrow night in the Carabao Cup second leg against Chelsea - that will be a good indication if it’s close.

You thinking they won't risk playing him if the deal is close to being finalised?

Where is this quote from as he doesn't say the 2nd part in his press conference on AVFC TV

He said if they leave then in that situation we can add one or two players

    BBC site from his presser

You'd think there'd be plenty of takers for Bertie and Chambers, depends how willing they are to play a bit further down the league table or at a lower level.

Interesting that Emery is suggesting players have to leave before we can buy though. If we go into the second half of the season with Cash as the only recognised RB and no decent cover for Kamara, then we might come unstuck...

Chambers yes, to a lower league side needing a defender but probably loan, Bertie potentially Saudi as he's a full on sick note made of glass

Unai just said Bertie and Callum Chambers are the only ones that he will let go.   If they move on maybe we can get someone in.

Not quite, I think if others move over and above these two we will consider getting someone in

Have we been linked? Why is Goldbridge saying this? Just a prediction or based on something? We know Emery was a big fan in the past…anybody heard anything? Sorry if this has already been talked about

A load of click bait BS

But we have better squad depth than them, we don't need to panic buy.

I don't see why we can't sustain it? Spurs should have better prepared in the summer, and they wouldn't have to panic buy now.

I disagree, think they have more depth once their injured players come back.

Why are people online freaking out that Spurs have signed two players, and we haven't?

I'd say its more about them being the closest rivals to our top 4 challenge than anything else
