Unfortunately Ings work rate is not enough, we look like united with Ronaldo or arsenal with auba when he is "pressing" . And he can not hold the ball up either. supersub maybe. Watkins is so much better for our style of play.

If this is the list people are relying on then it’s not adjusted for inflation, some of those in the top 10, and even top 15 are from 5,6 or even 10 years ago. I think transfer prices have risen well in excess of inflation too… so I would say he probably isn’t even top 15-20 when that’s taken in to account. 

Inflation or not, still crazy price considering contract length, form and age, never thought he is that good either. Hickey would be most likely more value for money. 

Mings has been very good. If you would sell him and buy someone like Gomez, that would initially set the team several steps backwards even if he would come good. You have to try and find the next Gem and then give him 12 months to develop into the team before selling Mings. Or then pay more than you get from Mings sale for someone truly next level, and all the names I come up for are out of our league still. If you want to steady progress that is.

Why not play Hourihane, this is championship level opponent, he would have Made The difference. Keep Grealish on the left, and Traore in U23.

Traore is waste of space, Hourihane in and Grealish on the left.

He made up for it by getting to the position in the first place and winning the penalty. Works hard for the team every minute. Nothing controversial in loving that.

Targett was not quite up to the defensive duties yesterday. We need much faster left back. We dominated the game from start to end, but fell asleep twice in the beginning of each half and that cost us. Grealish another planet, but also Trez was great. 

Disagree with people critising Trez. He provided opportunities for others, was unlucky not to score and got us penalty as well. Worked hard again.

Based on solely yesterday I'd say

Bowen & Trez  on par > Benrahma > Traore yesterday.

I think Ross injury and moving Jack to number 10 was mistake. Should have brought Nakamba or Hourihane in and kept the formation, Grealish needs the ball and space to attack, anonymous in the middle.

Trez is quality! Team of 11 Messis would be relegated from Prem, you need players with different strengths.
