I think Henry could genuinely still do a job for us on the pitch in the championship. Player manager? Or just sign him as a player. 

I wouldn't be unhappy to see Bruce go - the fact is that he failed in his job last season.

But, it all depends on what our position is in the transfer market. If nothing has changed in our ability to build a new team then I'd keep Bruce to steady the ship. I also think a lot of the coaching team he's gradually built. 

If we can build a new team to be ambitious again then a change is probably best. But not Henry - I'd be amazed if someone of his experience could get us close to the top of this league. I'd be worried we'll go down again if Henry becomes our manager. 

I think we need to play him. But as far as we've seen so far he seems to be a liability in possession, therefore I just think it makes complete sense to play him up front - just behind the main striker. Anywhere in midfield he just has too much possession and defensive responsibility that seems to be his weakness at the moment. 

Dare I remind people of Remy's transfer to Liverpool last summer at this point ... 

He looked excellent this evening. Bossed the midfield when he was on. A couple of mis placed passes could do with being cut out but nonetheless really impressed with this guy.

'State of the art digital platform' - it's awful. Just makes the club look so bad - amongst all the other negativityat the moment, at least get this right!

I've stopped caring. 

The biggest bonus of an appointment like this should be that we don't get in the situation where contracts run down / run out as we have seen recently. They provide that sort of long term stability and vision so it doesn't matter if there are manager changes etc. 

I think Clark is a popular choice because of him coming from the academy etc. and he would be a good captain but logically it probably should be Richards. The main problem with Clark is that I'm still not 100% he'd be first on the team sheet and, for me, that is the biggest factor in choosing a captain (goalkeeper aside). 

That live stream really really annoyed me. So shoddy and amateurish as usual. "We're a big club" ... and we can't even get a live stream up and running effectively. Something so small but it really puts me off.  

Too old.

I've never really been a fan of him but I actually hope he gets a chance this season ... Just a feeling, but I think he might turn a new leaf!

I think he'll be sent on loan to a Championship club next season. Then move into our first team the season after. (That's if we aren't a Championship next season).

The club was at the end of a "cycle" (the O'Neill era) when it decided to cut its losses on various O'Neill signings. We are in a new cycle now and I can't see anyone being sold.

It seems to me as though, because we have all but guaranteed our league safety, people are now looking for something else to needlessly worry and stress about. I'm very much looking forward to the summer and seeing who we add to the squad - enjoy the ride folks and stop needlessly stressing.

Delph and his agent are in the driving seat, he is performing well and would have his pick of clubs if he was to leave at the end of next season should his performances continue. That may very well happen should we not be willing to keep paying him what we are now.

So that would put us in the driving seat then; on how willing we are to pay him.

Absloutly excellent today! That final 20 mins he seemed to pop up wherever there was danger and deal with it. Well done. 

Baker has always seemed very quiet to me ... 

i think Delph would be our best captin but must not forget our most experienced player Agbonlahor whose had the armband before. 

I see Vlaar as a good experienced defender.

I see Okare as an excellent inexperienced defender

Clark is a good inexperienced defender (although he must have learnt a lot from last year)

Baker is an excellent inexperienced defender.

Okare Baker is the future.

My thought's exactly. 

Vlaar is out of position so often and just hasn't got the pace to get back. It's painful to watch. 

Stick with Baker and Okore now.  

Great deal for us. We'll prob still get 6mill plus for him next summer with the game time he gets there. If he hits good form we could get a better fee than we could have hoped this summer. 

Can you imagine how fustrating the Bomb Squad would be if Lambert had to shift them before he could buy anyone!

I'm so pleased with the club that they got in and did their business early.  Now all our speculation revolves around getting rid of regrettable players. 

Anyone else in is a nice bonus.

If he'd just put that goal away against Fulham at VP in April I don't think there would be any doubt that he was reaching the potential we'd hoped for.
